very friendly staff, very nice food, excellent service, nice and quite big room Entrance/reception could be a little bit more "attractive". Restaurant only has very few and small windows (quite dark, no outside view). Nice small bar/restaurant on site with outside seating area. So you can enjoy a drink before dinner. Over all we had a pleasant stay. But also quite expensive, maybe because of game fair weekend.

Another very comfortable weekend at Burnside. Rooms are well appointed, with very comfy beds, and the food is delicious! Burnside has been a regular venue for many years!

Another fabulous stay at Burnside, the setting is superb next to a brook in the quiet village of Shottery and yet only a 20 minute walk to town and close to Stratford Racecourse. The service is excellent and nothing is too much trouble for the friendly people who run it. The food is excellent be that the restaurant menu or indeed the indian food served in the adjoining Cask and Tandoor. We will be back again next month for a lovely relaxing couple of days. Well done to all at Burnside.

We stayed at the Burnside Hotel as a party of 4 for 3 nights, celebrating my wife and her twin sister’s 60th birthdays and all had a fabulous time. This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in and a true hidden gem. The attention to detail is evident in this immaculate and beautiful presented hotel which had touches of luxury throughout. The room was generous in size, lovely decor, very comfortable bed and a lovely en-suite bathroom with an excellent shower, fluffy towels, robes and lux products. All the food we had was delicious and the service was friendly and professional in both the hotel and the Cask and Tandoor (afternoon tea, breakfasts and evening meals). Really thankful for the surprise birthday cakes, such a thoughtful touch. Our party all agree that what makes this hotel so special are the staff, they are all so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. A special thank you to Minty for her warm welcome and hospitality. We will definitely be coming back

We were up from Cornwall looking for a new home, and needed somewhere as a base, we happened on The Burnside almost by accident, and what a fabulous hotel it is! Such a warm welcome, we felt at home immediately, and the most comfortable beds ever! Some of the deals that are available are outstanding, with all the meals we had exceptional. Great location for exploring historic Warwickshire.

We enjoyed a one night stay at Burnside whilst visiting locations around the Stratford upon Avon area. The hotel was immaculate and the staff very attentive with a very calm atmosphere. We had an evening meal which was delicious followed by a lovely breakfast in the morning. A great location and the hotel very appointed.

A wonderful two day break at the Burnside Hotel. Lovely spacious room with super comfy bed. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent and good value especially the curry night. The staff at this hotel are absolutely lovely and cannot do enough to make your stay perfect.

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, the location is perfect for exploring the Cotswolds and the hotel is immaculate, everything is spotlessly clean. The bedroom was a very good size , lovely decor , a very comfortable bed and a lovely en suite bathroom with an excellent shower. All the food we had was delicious, there is a good choice at breakfast and evening dinner but what makes this hotel so special are the staff, they are all so friendly and welcoming, they are so helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them. We will definitely be coming back !
