Unfortunately, the service we received from the reception staff was highly unprofessional. The new room was extremely hot, and the bathroom had no ventilation, causing the humidity and heat to become unbearable after a shower. A table fan was provided, but it was extremely dirty and the power cord was too short to reach the bed. When I raised this issue with reception, they brought another fan, which was even dirtier than the first one. I pointed this out immediately, and a receptionist attempted to clean it—shockingly—with assistance from a male staff member using a floor-cleaning broom in the bar area, causing dust to spread everywhere. This is absolutely not a professional or hygienic way to handle such a situation. Additionally, the bath towels provided were very dirty, and the hand wash in the bathroom was so diluted it was practically just water. Overall, the service at this Travelodge hotel was extremely poor and disappointing

Our room was too hot. No air conditioning. I asked the guy if we could move rooms but he said most of the rooms were like that. We booked into another hotel got our belongings and went to check out, the guy on reception said he could see if he had a room on the other side of the hotel as he had moved people already. I didn’t like his attitude, seems he couldn’t be bothered. We are looking into getting a refund !

Always use Travelodge and never had any problems, cheap rooms, good location, free car park, lots of shops nearby, friendly staff and clean hotel.

Room was ridiculous hot. No air con, no fan. Windows needed to be open but little air and then all we could hear is the road works outside the property and delivery lorry unloaded metal cages at 0700.

Stay here every week for work never had any issues with staff or the hotel rooms are fine clean good to rest your head on all staff have been friendly
