There was a youth baseball tournament in Stratford and some of the players were quite noisy. Hotel is clean but walls and carpet seemed a little dated

I booked two nights because it was conveniently located and affordable. We were pleased with the spacious room and very happy with the comfortable mattress (best on our 9 day trip), ample soft pillows, and quiet…really, no noise. The establishment is a bit older but it was spotless and didn’t smell of harsh chemicals. The staff was friendly and professional. I usually filter for ratings 4.5+ but few were available and none under $325/night.

This is a classic case of - ‘don’t judge a book by its cover.’ The outside appearance was quite deceiving, but inside everything was clean and well kept. The pool area was wonderful. (Could’ve been warmer waters, but the set up was very nice.)

Great stay with hiccups.
The stay was great. The booking was mixed up. We had a multi family room with 1 king 1 queen and a double b3d couch. However that was not available. The clerk was very accomodating and helped us out. Other then the mix up it was another great stay.

Good value
Hitel is under new ownership and renovations are underway..Main buildings and rooms are nice and clean.
Pool area is large and has sauna as well
