We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at the Brass Lantern Inn. Don is a great host. The inn itself is conveniently located to all that Stowe has to offer but also offers a warm, charming character. Nice view, cozy sitting areas, and clean comfortable rooms. The breakfasts were excellent and the service was friendly and welcoming all around. Would definitely stay there again.

The Brass Lantern Inn is beautiful home run by a warm, friendly, and courteous staff. Our room had everything that we needed: comfortable bed, plenty of towels and toiletries, a great shower, coffee, and a view of Mt Mansfield. Breakfasts were delicious, and the pm baked treats were delicious. This is a relaxing and comfortable Inn, which is also very tastefully decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This inn was the best place we stayed during our weeklong trip to Vermont. From the warm welcome and thorough orientation of the property to the room and delicious homemade breakfast, we couldn’t have asked for better. There was a hot tub, a back porch, an expansive lawn in the back with a fire pit, and even a chicken coop. Our room was beautiful, with hardwood floors, a fireplace in the corner, and a very comfortable bed. We will be back!

My husband and I stayed in the Mansfield room, for one night. Despite the inn being on a busy street, our room was quiet as it faced the mountains. It was also bigger than we expected. We had a very comfortable night and enjoyed the delicious, hearty breakfast overlooking the expansive lawn and hills (it was quite hazy from smoke so the view is probably even better than what we saw). The proximity to restaurants and shops was great. We enjoyed our stay!

The Brass Lantern is one of my favorite places to stay. I've been back there three times so far, and will continue to go. Everyone there is so accommodating and personable. The room is cozy, neat and clean. Their breakfasts are absolutely amazing. I highly recommend the Brass Lantern for your stay!

Great hosts, comfortable room. Lots of amenities on site from games to hot tub etc. Great location will plan to go back. The breakfast was especially yummy. Fresh muffins, perfect eggs and a cute dining room with a view. Very pet friendly as well

A not so hidden gem just a mile east of Stowe village. Tastefully furnished and restored old building still containing some of the original beams. The small guest capacity is how they can provide them with the very best service. For a peacefull couple of days this place can't be missed. Definitely worth going out of the way for. Rooms fill up fast. There was a good amount of private space during our June 25th stay. A clean hot tub overlooking Stowe Mtn. on the lower alcove deck. A full variety of self serve teas and single batch coffees. Well appointed tastefully decorated furnishings. A tastefull farmfresh breakfast served that, if for no other reason, is well worth the stay. A memorable experience.

We had a really nice stay at the Brass Lantern Inn over the weekend — Saturday and Sunday. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and relaxed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and everything was thoughtfully maintained. The room was clean and cozy, and the little touches made it feel special. Breakfast both mornings was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The innkeepers were friendly and helpful.
