This is a lovely old hotel, centrally located on the main town square. Parking is available at the rear although it’s usually also available in the square. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. The hotel is a maze inside so remember how to get to your room! On hot days you definitely need the fan to keep things cool. The restaurant is excellent and the outdoor space is a lovely spot to enjoy your meal, or just a drink or two. Highly recommend.

So and so bed and breakfast We stayed for 2 nights , great location, room size okey , the sink in my room which was no 18 need changing as it was damaged and had greenish stains . The room was very hot , consider that if you plan to visit in summer, even turning the provided fan wouldn't help. The breakfast was delicious, and we tried different plates each day Finally, I didn't appreciate the check out lady attitude at all,

Subsequent to my wife and I checking out after a three night stay I was prompted by email to provide "honest feedback" in respect of our visit. I duly filled out the online form and supplemented it with an email in which I raised a specific issue relating to our stay which I felt merited a response. 10 days ensued without a response so I sent a follow up. This prompted an apologetic phone call assuring me that a reply would be forthcoming as a matter of urgency. A further week passed with nothing received so I chased up again 4 days ago. Still nothing. My wife and I travel extensively and will always provide constructive feedback, both positive and negative where we feel it appropriate. If an establishment is actively fishing for compliments or otherwise from its customers the least it can do is communicate with them.

Lovely little hotel in the middle of Stow… greeted warmly on arrival. Our room looked out over the square, and was well appointed, with a little lounge area. Parking is a bit hit and miss, but as we visited days after Christmas it was very busy so to be expected. Staff were friendly and helpful.
