Tiny room and ensuite barely large enough to use with the door closed. Disappointing food. Friendly staff and good location

Very pleasant stay at this quiet location, very close to the fantastic castle and museum. Cosy room but with everything you need including central heating plus extra heater and fan if required. Excellent breakfast and fast service. Arundel is a unique historic town and the castle is a must to visit including fanastic gardens.

Great location, friendly helpful staff and quiet area. However our Indulgence room suffered from being close to the primary exit / entrance with a loud banging door. This combined with a large, noisy wedding party staying here, negatively impacted our stay for our anniversary. Best considered as a pub with rooms rather than a hotel, although not sure that then justifies the expense of the indulgence rooms.

What a wonderful hotel. Friendly staff, beautiful room, excellent food … had a chicken roast dinner as it was Sunday evening and the chicken was so tasty! Arundel is such a pretty town, the castle looks absolutely amazing, I must come stay here again when not on business 👏👏👏

Fantastic, really enjoyed our stay. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spotlessly clean and bar is pleasant. Breakfast was wonderful. Arundel is a beautiful town and pleasure to walk. Will definitely come back with the family and friends. Thank you.

Excellent and friendly traditional inn with top notch food. We stayed here for one night and had a friendly welcome and given a really nicely appointed en-suite room with views to the castle. We ate an evening meal at The Swan and it was lovely; breakfast was delicious with high quality local ingredients, and the best croissants I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend The Swan and would definitely return.
