The bed linens were clean... although we had our doubts after seeing how poorly the unit was maintained. Extremely outdated! Avocado green shower, old sofa sleepers (didn't open so unsure of mattress), broken blinds, tape to cover holes in screen doors, balcony paint peeling and sticks to shoes, cardboard taped to cover fireplace, bedroom floors sinking, bathroom sink drips continuously, old industrial carpet, portable air conditioner with unsightly hose venting out of kitchen window, mismatched dishes, utensils, pots, baseboards and doors cracked, water leak spots on ceilings. The location is nice....very remote. If you just need a place to sleep it is similar to camping but otherwise, I don't think I would recommend this place. Definitely not what timeshare owners are used to!

Have you wanted to be in the middle of nowhere so you can't be bothered by anyone? Then this is the place for you! Located at an abandoned ski resort, this complex is surrounded by woods and remoteness. We stayed in a suite with a modest kitchenette, no cell service, great wifi, and three other couples/families there with us. It reminded us of The Stanley but without the scariness. We enjoyed the country atmosphere, the friendly and helpful staff, and literally having the place to ourselves. There's a lot of hiking, snowmobiling, boating, and hunting to be done in the area. Be prepared for no A/C, but call ahead and request one for your room for an additional fee. Also, no pool (which didn't matter to us). We truly loved exploring the area and didn't mind driving to enjoy other parts of the area. Super fun stay!

This is a fun family oriented small town experience with personal attention. What it lacks in big town feel, it makes up with its warm personality. Over the years, it has been updated with a children’s playground, a charming porch to enjoy your coffee on, trails to hike on and a large ‘great’ room to relax in. The units accommodate from 2 to 6-8 people and because this used to be a ski resort, it simulates a chalet feel. It is also close to family activities in Conway New Hampshire if desired, which is less than an hour away! If it’s a getaway you are looking for, Evergreen is for you. Check it out!!🩷🩷🩷 Cheryl Nelson Barnard

I stayed at this "middle of nowhere" motel during July 4th week. The place is far,far away from any local attractions, literally in a swamp area with dirt roads. The staff is very unprofessional and unfriendly. The room I was assigned to was on the first floor with two dogs in the room above who kept me away all night. The place is quite loud with guests partying in front of my windows all night. The WiFi is practically non-existent. I forgot my big, very expensive beach towel (UGG which was a gift) in the room and called back right after I got home. The person I spoke to found the towel and took my address and CC info to send it back to me. That never happened, so I called back in a few weeks and then again.. No one returned my call. Today I called again and got yelled at by the front desk clerk. Seriously? Stay away. Ruined my trip

I think our title says it all. This is our home away from home in Maine. We spent five weeks there this past Oct-Dec and enjoyed every minute. Staff is friendly and helpful. The condos are clean, comfortable as are the bathrooms. It's a rustic lodge far away from everything and THAT'S why we come to Maine. The area is rich with hiking, places to explore, cemeteries, lakes, mountains to climb and history. If you a 'town life' take a nice scenic drive to Conway, NH about 40 minutes away. This is where you come to relax, grill, enjoy campfires and Maine life. if that's not for you, please stay away and don't ruin it for everyone. As I said we've visited four, maybe five times and we'll be back.

Simply outstanding. Individual units, each with a kitchen. Set in the most calm and beautiful countryside. It is part of a time share and a mix of owners who come back every year and guests who stay for shorter. Everyone was extremely friendly. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Coffee/treats in the morning. Fabulous communal areas, including a large fire pit outside and a multi- level living area inside (with fires in winter). Gas BBQ ($2 charge), washing machines and driers ($1). Expect a basic place that allows you to get away from it all. Limited internet (they are currently looking into upgrading it). Don’t go if you fee offended by a place looking older. Our apartment was immaculately clean. Being older is part of the charm.

Where to begin... Just avoid. Service is horrible 😫 Middle of absolutely nowhere. Nothing pretty about area. Bugs galore. Bugs eat you alive. Builungs old. Bedrooms in basement. Overpriced. Nothing to do. Charged for my husband's SERVICE dog. Did i mention "Bugs."

This was a cozy resort tucked back in the woods of Maine. The staff was extremely help full with everything. They gave great suggestions on places to eat and see. The room was very clean and comfortable. If you like the outdoors this will be a great place for you to visit. This will give you solitude and a chance to relax and enjoy the great outdoors.
