Hotel has been recently upgraded with excellent bathrooms and newly refurnished bedrooms.
Never stayed in this part of U.K. - thriving street market /street food event once per month; sense of a ‘fight back’ and good on them.

Good parking and easy to find. There was a £100 deposit I had to pay which wasn’t mentioned when booking the hotel. The room was nice but the shower had no water pressure and made it difficult to use.

Don't stop here, worst breakfast, very slow service, will never stop there again, tv didn't work,took an hour to fix,fire alarm going off in the middle of the night

The check-in was really good the lady showed us the room and how the key worked she was really friendly. But the bed was way too hard and we didn’t sleep well.

It felt like we were in a hostel! Rooms were tiny, TV didn't work, shower was either boiling hot or freezing cold, very noisy, the hotel is so run down, wall paper hanging off the walls, smells musty and old. Very much needed refurbishment and some TLC

We saw the sign outside that they offer breakfast, so we called in for a bite to eat. Would really recommend. We paid £6.50 for a full English, including toast with juice and tea or coffee. Will definitely be returning. Lovely old building and can't fault the breakfast, cooked beautifully. Polite and friendly staff.

We arrived early and asked if we could have our tea a bit earlier, the staff were happy to oblige in fact all the staff were extremely helpful. The hotel is in the middle of Stone on the High Street so we were able to enjoy a walk before eating. The food was delicious and fresh as well. it was presented really nicely on a classic 3 tier rack. There were freshly made sandwiches with rocket and baby tomato salad, then 2 large slices of lovely moist ginger cream cake and 2 large slices of coffee and walnut cake with strawberries and macarons alongside and finally fresh fruit scones with jam and clotted cream. We took 2 slices of cake home. We would definitely go again !!
