This price is absolutely worth it.
The hotel is a bit old, the soundproofing is average, and the wooden structure creaks with the slightest movement.
The hotel restaurant must be highly recommended

Excellent stay at this surprisingly well priced hotel. Chek in was smooth, professional and fast. Room was well appointed and very comfortable. Premium pints just over £5/pint - unbelievable - bartender gave EXCELLENT service. Dinner service in the Indian restaurant was delightful and breakfast equally well apportioned. Overall - EXCELLENT service throughout - attentive yet personal.

A perfect little find for a night on the way home from manchester this place is beautiful the room is stunning fabulous decor clean fresh and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and professional all cheerful. Food well presented and a good price it has free parking easy access and a beautiful pool and spa facilities free to use with a super attendant very nice chap again helpful 100% recommend a stay !! Thank you all

stayed at the post house hotel stone for 1 night the staff were that friendly and professional I could not fault any body check in excellent and quick room spotless and clean could not fault any thing about the stay

We have visit the stone house on several occasions and the food has been good. But Sunday lunch was not the roast beef was chewy and hard to eat , the chicken breast my husband had we had to return uneaten it tasted off , it came with a bacon and leek sauce which looked like bisto gravy ,you'd think leek sauce would be white wine based. Because the chicken was inedible we asked for a tomato soup which took 15 mins to arrive at which point I had finished eating. Two of the waiters didnt seem to know anything the only saving grace was a very pleasant young girl who served part of the meal who was very helpful and apologetic. Its such a shame because the redec and other visits have been great
