We were lucky enough to be in Stoke Fleming for a weeks holiday, when I noticed a post on facebook. It was offering a three course meal for 25 pound at the hotel. We booked online and the overall experience was wonderful. The service (Jill and another young woman) and the meal was exquisite and amazing value for money. Well done Stoke Lodge

We came across this hotel when we were let down by our Airbnb and were so glad we did. The staff were so friendly and accomodating, the rooms comfy and the breakfast delicious. We were glad to come across this hidden gem just sad we weren't able to stay longer to use more of the facilities

The hotel really made our weekend away perfect. The staff were so welcoming, relaxed, friendly and helpful, the food was amazing, the outdoor pool lovely. We enjoyed sitting in the terrace looking at the view, enjoying a cocktail and just being really well looked after. Definitely want to come back!

Super kleines Hotel in einer Traumhaften Gegend. Grosse bequeme Zimmer, sehr gutes Essen (wir waren Halbpension) und sehr nette Angestellten. Das Hotel ist nur 3 Auto Minuten von Blackpool Sands Strand und ca. 10 Auto Minuten von Dartmouth. Bin schon 3 Mal hier für eine Woche. Ich komme wieder!

After many years, I returned to the Stoke Lodge for dinner. The restaurant had been a favourite haunt of my parents in their retirement in the 1990s and it was great to discover the hotel was still there, albeit updated. Dinner was a very pleasant surprise: a very tasty slab of pork belly, served in almost a Japanese style, and an equally flavoursome venison. When I had an enquiry subsequent to dinner that required a receipt for the evening, the response was amazingly prompt and helpful. A great experience all-told!

This hotel is a rare find, a well run private hotel with excellent facilities at a reasonable price. We stayed for 3 nights and had a very comfortable and quiet room. Unfortunately it was not quite warm enough to use the outdoor pool but there is a good sized indoor pool plus Jacuzzi and sauna. The absolute highlight, however, was the evening dinner which was exceptional. There is a limited menu, which is changed daily, and it is truly fine dining. We will be back!

We are returning guests and received a lovely warm welcome. The break was for our upcoming anniversary and all the staff made us feel very special. The room at the rear of the hotel was lovely, spacious and very clean. We ate in the restaurant every night and the food was amazing. Breakfast excellent too . Thanks to everyone at the hotel and can't wait for our next stay

Lovely single night stay as this friendly hotel. Peaceful room - so nice to have a bath and not just a shower - spotlessly clean and really tasteful decor throughout. Wonderful location as easy to walk (myself and two spaniels) to Little Dartmouth and the Coastal Walk and then into town without having to use the car. I stayed on a room-only basis so cannot comment on the food. Would definitely return.
