Terrific historic property. My room was on the third floor of the inn, with a beautifully newly renovated bathroom. Breakfast’s main course and baked item were nicely prepared and served each morning (although the fruit course was the same each day). Coffee was good, really cool self serve espresso machine to prepare a variety of coffees any time. The new restaurant on the property (Northbridge) was an impressive and big investment, and worth it! The restaurant dining space is warm and welcoming and the meals were beautifully plated and delicious. At the time they were awaiting their liquor license, so it was BYOB. Overall a really nice stay and we will be back. Love the sheep on the property. Only areas for improvement: time to upgrade the bed linens; and TVs: it’s time to include them in the rooms for guests. In the past it may have been challenging to run cable wires in an old building - But now that wires aren’t necessary for streaming content and TVs aren’t expensive, there’s no reason.

My husband and I spent an overnight at the inn to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We picked the inn based on its online reviews and photos. It was a reasonable distance from where we live in northern NJ for a short getaway. Plus, the area has much to offer for day trip ideas. We loved our stay! The property is beautiful and well kept. The room was wonderfully appointed and super clean. The breakfast was tasty. We also enjoyed our dinner at Northridge, the converted barn-restaurant on the property. The food was excellent and the value superb. All of the staff (both at the inn and restaurant) that we encountered were upbeat and very attentive. It is evident on all fronts that this charming place is a labor of love for the owners. We will definitely be coming back to enjoy a relaxing getaway here.

Stayed for a week with my family and husband for our wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better venue. We absolutely love every minute of staying here. The breakfast meals were really good, the ambiance of the place is just so relaxing and so picturesque. Staff were the best and can see they love working there. The meal we had at Northridge was really good as well, staff at the restaurant were knowledgeable. I would 100% recommend this place to everyone wanting a getaway.

What an amazing experience!! Beautiful grounds, Inn and cottages!! The staff were friendly and accommodating, meeting our every need!! The sheep are so sweet and gentle and feeding them was a highlight!! Thank you Mary and Mario for our fantastic stay…we can’t wait to come back!

This was our second stay here and again it was simply great! This time we stayed at the cottage and not in the main house. The room was spacious , clean and we loved the fireplace. Breakfast is delicious with super friendly and attentive service

This was our second visit to the Woolverton Inn in Stockton, and it won’t be our last. From the magnificent grounds and beautiful stone building, to the cozy comfort of the Garden Cottage, we could have stayed forever! Mary and Mario, the owners, have thought of every detail for a lovely stay. The bed was perfect, the soaking tub and beautiful big shower in the huge bathroom was magical, and the fireplace was wonderful on a chilly afternoon. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the assortment of excellent baked goods available any time in the main building was hard to resist. We so enjoyed sitting outside on the Adirondack chairs with our pup, watching the adorable sheep, and taking long walks around the grounds. The best part has to be the staff, and I can’t say enough about their welcoming kindness and accommodation. Chris, CeeCee, Chris, Mario and the rest of the staff made our stay just perfect, and I can’t think of a more beautiful place to rest and relax, especially with the stunning and excellent (recently opened) Northridge Restaurant next door. Everything about the Woolverton Inn is exactly how a B&B should be. We’ll be back!

What a relaxing get-away! We stayed in the Audubon cottage and loved it! The gas fireplace was a nice treat, as was looking out the window and seeing sheep grazing right there! You can also feed the sheep. The management can give you a tin cup with food in it, so when the sheep hear you shake the cup, they come right up to the end of the fence. The breakfast choices are excellent. I don't think I have tasted better homemade muffins in my life! The welcoming staff and rustic environment make this a true favorite. Can't wait to go back.

My husband and I are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary by doing something special every month of the year. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay overnight at the Woolverton Inn, which is a gorgeous old manor house. Julia Child was married her in 1946! Fresh baked goods, healthy snacks, fruit, coffee, tea, sodas were available all the time. We had a lovely room with a fireplace that we enjoyed, a very comfortable bed and pillows, modern bathroom. The included breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed it in the dining room, although they would have served us in our room if we had preferred. We went out to dinner at the Black Bass Inn and after checking out, went and enjoyed looking through shops in New Hope on our way home. It could not have been nicer!
