Excellent stay again. Well situated on the A6 on just outside of Stockport.
Always my first hotel of choice in Manchester.

The room is well equipped. Though the temp was very cold during my stay and the radiator will not be opened in whole day, I can also turn on the heater. They will ensure you can get enough warm during your stay.

Very good place to stay for its price but the room was a bit stuffy.

Not too bad for a 2 night stay. Hotel was clean, room was quite small, but warm and had ironing facilities and tea/coffee amenities.
Old hotel but kept well. Staff were friendly.
Show in room 28 had absolutely no pressure. Reported the matter but nobody came to sort it out.
Room was not cleaned. Later saw a notice saying the rooms are only cleaned upon request.
Well, that’s about it.
Oh yeah! Nice fireplace in front of reception and bus stop just outside.

This hotel is good value for money. Our room is fairly small but spotlessly clean. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and hot food was constantly checked and refilled. We would return again if we needed to stay in the area.

Stayed at Alma Lodge for function we attended at weekend. Hotel just off A6 in Stockport, five minute drive to central Stockport, bus service 192 just outside front of hotel. Hotel is a bit dated all round and could do with refresh. Rooms tired but had everything you needed. Staff friendly. Breakfast average

Friendly staff, clean room, great breakfast. Sure, the rooms are dated, but they're immaculate. Room has a decent TV, and a bath (rare thing nowadays). Tea & Coffee, fan, hairdryer, desk, etc. The bar stayed open for us, and the breakfast was actually amazing. Would stay again.
