Lord Nelson Hotel

The self-serve breakfast with plenty of options was appreciated. Guests praised the cleanliness and staff friendliness. The prime location is ideal for exploration. However, some found the rooms small, dark, and noisy.

We stayed for one night in July. The hotels location is amazing and everything is at walking distance from there. The hotel is very sea-themed and has big wooden dolls as decirations and there are very many paintings and photographs of ships on each floor and in the rooms. If you like a boat/sea themed hotel you’ll love this, for me it was a bit much. We stayed in the family room which was one level under reception and you could hear footsteps at reception in the room. The room was quite spacious but didn’t have complimentary toiletries, as many hotels in Stockholm tend to have. The breakfast was complimentary had everything necessary, but could use improvement considering the pricepoint at which you can book another hotel with a buffé. The breakfast was also TINY and you could barely sit down without bumping into another person. There isn’t much to do at the hotel as it is very small and some of the rooms are also tiny. The staff was very friendly and we were able to leave our bags to the front desk upon arrival.
