Maybe the best hostel in Stockholm or even Sweden! Was here already a few times, many cool people to get connected. The best is the big kitchen and the sauna. Also the location is not far from central station. Prices in Stockholm are OK, not too expensive.

City hostel is really central. Only a 5 minute walk from Central Station. It was really accessible and the hostel was very organised with instructions in check in after the reception closes. Very useful. There was lockers in our room and lots of seating spaces away from the room for variety with a shared kitchen and dining area. The bed had a socket with a reading light too and a basket for devices next to the bed. If you need an adaptor it's impossible to use the USB port too. (see picture) No towel supplied so I brought my own. There is a supermarket directly across the road which was very helpful for breakfast and dinner to help my budget as I found Stockholm to be a very expensive city. Overall, no complaints. There was a toilet and shower room separately from each other which was a bit confusing, but easily accessible from the room.

The staff was very nice and I had a wonderful stay. I found everything I needed in the hostel, there is a supermarket directly opposite and numerous restaurants in the area (the opening times often differ from those on Google though...). The cleanliness was also completely fine. 1-2 small things bothered me, but those were the responsibility of the other guests (for example, the shower was not left clean, but it is clear that you cannot check after every shower whether everything has been left tidy). If you are a light sleeper, you should take earplugs with you, the hostel is quite noisy.

I arrived after 8 PM, and I had to ask other guests about where to find my key first... (I really don't know when reception is open... It say 8 AM - 12 AM, but it was closed at 8 PM, and it was closed when I checked out 8:55 AM..) After getting tip on where to find my key, it was time to find my room... NO INFORMATION WHATSOEVER about where my room could be - of course I searched in rooms available, but it didn't have my room-number....Had they given me a room that didn't exist??? I had again to turn to fellow guests, and they told me to walk through the kitchen... Then I found my room... This hostel is under all critic when it come to check-in after 8 PM (even if their site state other hours for reception opening/closing) Mattress is OK, but beds are very noisy when you move, or someone else move.. I've stayed in a lot of hostels, but never have it been those noisy beds... The bathroom is basically an sirport-style bathroom; serving all rooms i believe... I just arrived from a hostel in Tallinn that had several small toilets/shower rooms, and I think a small toilet closer to your room is better. The common kitchen looked good, but since I arrived late, and leave in the morning - this is not a parameter in my review; it's said that they provide free tea/coffee, but I'm not sure if this is accurate either... It's 12 minutes walk from Stockholm Centralstation, so that's the largest advantage...

This was a great stay, a very clean and safe place. Location was nice and close to city center as well as central station. Staff were kind and helpful even when I lost my key. People were friendly and I was able to sleep nicely.

Clean hostel, well located. Nearby 7 eleven supermarket and opposite in the basement an ICA supermarket and a state alcohol store. Possibility of cooking. A downside if the hostel is full the common areas can quickly become saturated. Warning clostrophobic refrain, AJ in the basement. Check your reservation dates carefully.
