Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent, also for people with allergies. The hotel offers lots of alternatives if you have allergies. Great choice, buffet, as well as a la carte. They offer also a lot of healthy food. Location perfect: in front of the hotel you can take the bus, tram or ferryboat. And the hotel offers bikes free of charge!!!! In the big park opposite the hotel, you can have lovely walks (or do some jogging, cycling). Next door is the ABBA museum :-) and Gröna Lund entertainment park/ concert house, Cirkus and a lot of other museums. Next time in Stockholm we will definately choose for The backstage hotel again!!! Value for money.

I received fantastic care from Ms Nao Sakurada at The Backstage hotel when I fell ill visiting the ABBA museum. She went over and above to make sure I got home as soon as possible, safely and comfortably. I would highly recommend this hotel as the service is clearly exceptional!

Very nice, modern and bright rooms. The bathrooms are huge. The breakfast is very good. We love staying on Djurgarden when we come to Stockholm. We've stayed at their sister hotel Hasselbacken across the street and it's also very good. We find this area super convenient and very safe when traveling with kids as all the attractions are at your doorstep (Skansen, Grona Lund, Vasa Museum, Viking Museum, etc). We love to take the tram to go shopping around Norrmalmstorg (all the good shops are within walking distance). It's the prettiest ride. We also love taking the boat to Old Town. It's such a charming way to commute.

Arrived and what can I say but WOW! What an amazing hotel. Greeted by a staff member to check in and went to our room. Very clean and cosy looking. Absolutely loved the outlay and the colours were so nice. Best thing in the lift takes us right to the Abba Museum which was cool.First night we chilled and there was a mini bar in the room which is nice. Tv also which we could Bluetooth Netflix which was great. Only needed this at night when we got back from walking most of the day. Breakfast in the morning was a choice of cooked or continental, Usually I go cooked but the continental was nice. I went for the granola and I saw flakes of coconut. Never tried them before and I was hooked. I now have purchased coconut flakes to go with my cereal at home so thanks so much. Honestly 10/10 to this place it was the best experience ever. I will certainly be back. Also forgot there is tram stops across the road that will take you into the center of the town.
