A very nice hotel; clean, friendly and well organised. Good food! It is a pretty spot in the middle of Stockholm. It is magical to be in the middle of the city and actually feel that you are in the countryside! We'll be back!

The buildings that house the hotel were once a military facility; two long structures at the southern end of the small island whose name is borne by the hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a very good bed and a nice view towards the Fotografiska museum. There was no coffee machine, but the first night we requested a kettle. Within minutes, they brought us a tray with a choice of tea leaves and bags, mugs, the kettle and a small container of milk. Service was like that: friendly and efficient throughout. There were also fun and useful details in the room, such as a tray with underpants and tights, in different sizes and at reasonable prices. The breakfast was exceptionally good, varied and of great quality. Being in the Skeppsholmen island gave us the impression of going away from the city, although we were just a few hundred metres away from the National museum and even the Central station. In the same island there are also the Modern and other museums.

Very nice hotel in a quiet beautiful part of Stockholm. Easy to walk everywhere. Friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast.

The view from the bedroom was gorgeous, the island the hotel is situated on is so peaceful and quiet and the staff were amazing. As for the Breakfast - one of the best we've ever had on our numerous European adventures. This is the place to stay when in Stockholm!

I stayed in Hotel Skeppsholmen for 7 nights in March 2024. The hotel, converted from 2 historical buildings from 1699, is tucked away in an island (the very tranquil Skeppsholmen). But it’s well connected to the rest of the city via bus no.65 and ferry no.82. The National Museum, Grand Hotel, the Royal Palace and the Old Town are only a short walk away. I’d a deluxe room with sea and garden view (Room 232). It’s spacious with 3 big windows and ample natural light. There’s even a walk-in closet. The decor was minimalist but there’s no shortage of modern amenities including a large waterfall shower and Byredo Bal d’Afrique toiletries. I’d quality sleep during my stay since there’s almost no traffic in the area during the night. The room rate included buffet style breakfast. It’s served in the hotel restaurant. There’s a wide variety of hot and cold food to choose from. My only complaint is the bathroom sink. It’s certainly beautiful to look at but highly impractical to use. Every time I finished brushing my teeth and washing my face, the bathroom floor was all wet. I checked some reviews of travellers and replies of the hotel on TripAdvisor again after my stay. Many travellers had issues with the sink too. I’m surprised and a little annoyed that the hotel had acknowledged the problem without doing anything to rectify the same.

The location is beautiful, the hotel on a stunning island and converted skilfully from naval quarters which adds to their unusualness. There is the mini-ferry that takes you to various points of Stockholm including the Vasa museum and the ABBA museum. The hotel room was superb with a massive bathroom, a lovely view of the trees and the water. Breakfast was top-notch and we ate three times in the restaurant where the food was excellent. There is something rather special being located on Skeppesholmen island, and the hotel just adds to the experience.

Quiet secluded location, traditionally Skandi style. Staff on the front desk were very welcoming and friendly, helping us store our luggage before we checked in and after checking out. The breakfast was amazing, best cinnamon buns ever! Great selection of hot and cold items, coffee, tea, juices. We had a deluxe room with sea view, well worth it, the room was large and comfortable, with a great view. peaceful overnight. Bathroom was small, but perfect. We had a great stay, and would definitely book this hotel again.
