Great location, friendly service, clean.

Chose this because of positive reviews -don't make the same mistake. Carried our bags ourselves up the steps. Room absolutely tiny. Breakfast crowded and too few staff clearing tables-so initially nowhere to sit. 2rather slow elevators. I would not stay here again or recommend it.

I’m so glad I did my research and read the glowing reviews—Bank Hotel in Stockholm exceeded every expectation from start to finish.n From the moment we arrived until the moment we checked out, the service was truly impeccable. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond, making our stay both special and seamless. Special thanks to Bemnet Werede, the Hotel Manager, who personally checked us out and walked us to our taxi—what a thoughtful gesture. And Otilla at the front desk was an absolute gem, spending 45 minutes helping me navigate spa appointment bookings with patience and kindness. Highlights not to miss: 1. Rooftop Bar: This is a *must*. The views over the city are absolutely stunning, and the cocktails were creative and delicious.. 2. Hotel Bar: Don’t overlook this spot for a casual bite—the burger was one of the best we had during our two weeks in Northern Europe. The shrimp salad was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. Bonus: they made a fresh margarita for me—always a treat when abroad! 3. Bonnie’s: As many have said, it’s gorgeous. Breakfast was efficient and delicious every morning (the French toast off the alacarte menu is a must!). We also made room for the famous “Smash the Piggy Bank” dessert one night—fun, delicious, and definitely big enough for 2–4 people. 4. Our Room – Essential Classic with King Bed: Spotless, stylish, and incredibly well-appointed. Every thoughtful detail was covered: plush robes and slippers, high-end toiletries, a coffee maker and tea kettle, daily stocked still and sparkling water, earplugs, beautiful postcards, and even a kit with razor, toothpaste, toothbrush, etc. in case you forgot. Each day, housekeeping surprised us with a treat—healthy energy shots, candies, chips, and olives. To top it off, they recognized our wedding anniversary with a bottle of Swedish sparkling tea (a non-alcoholic bubbly that looks like champagne), chocolates, and a personalized note. So lovely! The decor and vibe are exactly what I love—modern elegance with classic old world character and charm. The Bank Owl logo throughout the hotel is such a fun touch, too. The hotel was well located and you could to walk to everything yet on a quiet street away from the crowds. Honestly, this was some of the most attentive and personalized service I’ve ever encountered in all my travels. If you’re considering where to stay in Stockholm, do yourself a favor and book the Bank Hotel—you will not be disappointed!

A 4.5 is probably more fair but erred on the side of a 5 rating as just about all things were very good for the standard. Well located and easy walking to city, old town and the docks. Our room was a good size and space for two suitcases to be opened and still move around. Good size bathroom, amenities and the bed was comfortable. The room was in the main very peaceful UNLESS you wanted a window open. Then the adjacent level 8 roof top bar noise could be heard. And with a closed window the air con was quite loud compared to other locations we have stayed. Restaurant was good for breakfast, however did note appeared to be a staging location for people commencing cruises, so could become “loud” with couples meeting up. Staff were helpful with all requests.
