Hotel is close to ship if you're going to Tallin or Helsinki also close to bus to city centre 42sek and car car parking 130sek/day. Casting to you tube or Netflix not working. Nice breakfast.

Booked a room for 3 people, there was 1 big bed and 2 more wall beds that could be opened and closed. There was no kettle in the room, only 2 glasses, enough bath towels for 3 people, but the bathroom floor was very cold. Scandic doesn't have a heated bathroom floor yet, if it was improved it would be very good. The floor was wet and cold, and there were no bath towels provided. The food was plentiful and tasty, European style.

The hotel is very close to the pier to Finland, right on the edge of the pier. If you have a trip to take a boat from Stockholm to Finland, you can consider it, otherwise I do not recommend this hotel. There is a bus, and it takes more than 30 minutes to walk to the nearest subway station. The rooms and cleanliness in the hotel are so-so. It was almost door to door to the ferry terminal it could not been at a better place when you are going on the ferry to Åbo.... I have been over night sleeping at a couple of your Scandic hotel's and it is always a pleasure and the staff are polite and in good mood , the rooms are always top notch and the breakfast is super 🥰

We've stayed at Scandic Södra Kajen numerous times and we love it. It's clean, family friendly, tidy and very friendly staff. The breakfast is superb and got something for both adults and children. They got a area dedicated for children which is appreciated by our children's. The skybar is clean and cozy with a magnificent view. We can without doubt recommend this hotel.

We stayed one night before taking the boat to Turku. The hotel was quire affordable compared to other places we have stayed. The room and barhroom was clean. I always check under the madrasses for dust and bedbugs, and it was also clean.No sign of bugs. There is a playarea for children on the third floor which makes the hotel good for families with kids. Be aware that there is a lot of building/construction in the area, but for a night or two the hotel is ok.
