We were looking for a place to break the journey from the Highlands, south, and this is right by the motorways and represents good value for those with kids. There were less cabins than I thought there would be (only 4) and we saw no evidence of any site presence by any staff, or reception etc, but that was fine, we didn't need anything. There's plenty of people around for the equestrian centre next door, and even on a sunny weekend they were flexible about times for taking the kids on a pony ride, even at the last minute. The cabins, whilst not luxurious, were decorated better and in more modern fashion than I thought they might be (although the double bed seemed on the smaller side). The key for the kids, though, was the jumping pillow. They loved it. The rest of the playground isn't quite as exciting (and not as exciting as some of the old pictures, so perhaps they've removed some stuff, there was no tubing for example or perhaps it only shows up in summer, not sure, there was no-one to ask). Certainly did the job for us.
