I booked 2 nights originally but stayed 3 and hated to leave. I like the ambience of the Inn and the town itself. The owners and staff were exceptional. The food was hardy and good. I would definitely come back again! Great location for exploring Stirling and the surrounding area.

Wow! the Inn at kippen what a wonderful place, I think maybe the owners haven’t even started to do all they want, I don’t know where to start but situated in a quiet little village this is rated 3 stars it must have been for somewhere else because the place deserves more the staff are helpful and friendly the place has a great atmosphere, the owners try and arrange different theme nights and live music. The owners are working non stop but always make time for you and are helpful and friendly and will always do anything they can for you. The head chef is the owner, what a chef! Definitely the best I have known his food is outstanding. The worst thing I could say about this place is it’s too far away from where I stay.

A place is defined by its people and the Inn at Kippen are good people. On arrival we were welcomed by a member of the team, followed by Mark showing us to our well equipped bedroom. The bed was seriously comfy and the Tunnocks tea cakes were a big hit. Parking is at the front of the Inn with an entrance for residents so not far to lug your overnight bags to your room. We enjoyed drinks in the bar, a relaxed family friendly environment with residents, locals and bar staff chewin’ the fat. Dinner in the restaurant was good quality, with hearty portions. The twinkly lights and wooden beams creating a lovely ambience. We planned to enjoy a second night at the Inn, on our way back from Inverness but our 1968 Alfa had other ideas. The team were very understanding of our situation, which we greatly appreciated. Our first time away since Covid and we thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality. Keen travellers to Scotland we are planning our next trip and the Inn will be on the itinerary. The Inn is in a great location for those touring the area. We drove via Lennoxtown on the B822 enjoying great views of the Campsies.
