Highly recommend this oppty to stay at a working w
Was wonderful. Was had to wait awhile to check in, but there was self-service wine and we sat outside in the garden on the beautiful sunny afternoon. The rooms were large and lovely, very comfy beds, large bathroom, the heaters were plenty warm.
We did a tour of the winery production and had a heuriger dinner that evening.
Situated in a beautiful paet of the Weinvertel, and there are ample opportunities to hike and ride bike. Lots of other wineries nearby as well.

Gastronomie montags nicht offen und in der Umgebung gibt’s wenig Möglichkeiten. Zimmer/Bett in Weinfassform originell, aber sehr klein. Zwei Zimmer im oberen Teil nur über Glasscheibe getrennt. Da stört die Lampe vom Nachbarzimmer und die Schallisolierung ist schlecht. Keine Möglichkeit, Koffer abzulegen und Handtücher aufzuhängen.

Nach großer Vorfreude und insgesamt 3 Stunden Fahrt wollten wir einchecken und dann heißt es: „Es gibt Sonntags keine Weinverkostung, keine Führung, kein Abendessen“ obwohl es bei unserem Gutschein inkludiert war! Keine Info diesbezüglich im Vorhinein und sehr sehr unfreundlicher Umgangston. Weiters bekamen wir auch kein Geld zurück - Keine Empfehlung!!!

Eine Nacht am Winzerhof! Auch im Weinfass möglich. Ein aufstrebender Familienbetrieb. Hält an (Weinbau)Tradition fest, verschließt die Augen aber nicht vor Gegenwart und Zukunft. Freundliche Leut'! Ausgezeichnete Verpflegung! Vollkommene Ruhelage. Alles sauber und gepflegt. Wie in meinem Fall: für Feste und Feiern ebenfalls geeignet. Ein Ziel, wenn man Entspannung sucht und sich wohl fühlen will.

Wir hatten ein SUPER entspanntes Wochenende. Das Wellnessangebot "Baden in der Holzbadewanne" muss man einfach dazunehmen. Auch das "SEHR EMPFEHLENSWERT". Die Führung (vom Chef des Hauses) durch den Weinkeller war sehr interessant gestaltet. Auch die kleinen "Witzchen" dazwischen waren sehr sehr passend. Abendessen (Winzerplatte) im Weinkeller ebenfalls sehr gut. Wir können es ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen und wünschen Euch weiterhin viel Erfolg.

Wochenlang vorher vereinbarter Termin für Kultur-Veranstaltung im 300 jährigen Weinkeller des Winzerhofs wurde ! 36 Stunden ! vor Veranstaltungsbeginn aus Geldgier abgesagt, da coronabedingt statt voraussichtlich 50 nur 30 Anmeldungen für eine Lesung zustande kamen. Im Vorfeld gab es genügend Mailverkehr, der auch von Seiten des Weinguts (als im Spam gelandet ???) viel zu spät beantwortet wurde. Vielleicht hätten wir schon zu diesem (früheren) Zeitpunkt von uns aus die Veranstaltung absagen sollen!
