I have eaten at this pub many times. Sometimes the food is ok BUT this time it was just disgusting and very poor quality and no way value for money, more a rip off. The House salad £13.99 with chicken, what salad? Everything cut up paper thin, half a tomato if that, 3 slices of cucumber cut up, 2 tiny bits of red pepper, no idea where the quinoa and rice was and 6 soya beans mixed in barely a handful of leaves. It was more like a small side salad garnish portion. Asked a staff member where the rest of the salad was, only to be told (with no apology) chef has to be careful as he has to keep a certain amount of items in stock. Then turned round and walked away. ***, no he has to serve what's on the menu and in a decent portion. The chicken was warm and had been tossed in the salad which made the tiny portion of leaves wilt and become a warm soggy mess. Big dish with a small layer of food. Last time I'll be eating there, a one off bad meal I can forgive but rude staff who make up stories, and should have asked if they could do anything or offer another meal that's unforgivable, bad service and plain rude.
