The Inn at SentryWorld

Amazing, perfect, didn’t want to leave, can’t wait to come back.

We will be staying at The Inn at SentryWorld in June, but I couldn't wait that long to write a review (it's currently April ... so that says something!)!! I just wanted to give a shout out to Izzy, who I was fortunate enough to have on the end of the line when I called to make our reservation. She was absolutely fabulous! Personable, professional and very knowledgeable. She provided me with some great and insightful information about our room options and also explained all of the dining options we would have available to us. We will be golfing as well, and she coordinated booking our tee time also, which was greatly appreciated. I live in Southern California now, but I grew up in Stevens Point and will be visiting my family during this trip. Izzy reminded me why I'm proud to be from Point and from Wisconsin ... the friendliest people and hands down the nicest! I felt like I was talking to a longtime friend instead of someone just doing their job as a reservation agent and an inn employee. Thank you, Izzy! I hope to meet you and say thank you in person in June! We can't wait to enjoy our stay at The Inn at SentryWorld!

The staff was welcoming. We were surprised with a free room upgrade. The grounds are beautiful and our room was lovely.

Beautiful resort

We stayed here for 2 nights in Feb to go ski at Granite Peak. We received a welcome drink at the front desk, which was lovely. Shown to our rooms by a staff member who took our bags on a cart. He told us he was also the shuttle driver, so he could take us to dinner. We didn't end up using this service but could be very useful for others. We stayed in a "King Terrace" room. It was very nice. coat hooks, closets, coffee, hot cocoa, Keurig machine, water bottles. frig in room. reading lights. bed was very comfortable. thermostat in room worked great. TV worked great, there were many channels. The bathroom was very nice: robes, large towels, roomy. shower water was hot & had goof pressure. We ate at the library cafe for breakfast after checking out & it was great. I was very impressed. Breakfast sandwich was delicious, service was efficient. water station available.

The hotel is gorgeous, the arts and craft unique decor were unexpected for a golf resort. The room we were in was a bedroom with a living room and a second bath with a dining table and wet bar, a very nice little patio with very comfortable chairs. Windows opened in room so fresh air would be great on cooler days, great black out drapes. Our room overlooked the golf course and would have preferred the higher floor you would have saw more of course. The Cafe for breakfast was good for grab and go we ordered of menu and big breakfast and we were disappointed, had been told Biscuits and Gravy were great, the gravy was good but the microwaved biscuits were awful. My husband got pancakes and we had to wait for those due to griddle not being hot enough. The waitress was great got us directions for some sightseeing and 2 free treats for the wait we had. The resort does carry Coke products and water in fridge in rooms. The staff was new but they were are very nice in the hotel.. The reason for coming was the golf course, we played on day 2 late in afternoon and were paired with people that weren't staying at hotel, wish we could have played by ourselves being guest at hotel, just a nicer touch. The course is one you need to hit fairways because the rough is terribly rough. The concept of you green fee includes cart with bucket seating, found for a women it was a little hard to get in and out of we are 60 and 65 age group. Fairways are wide on most holes and course plays long even the twosome we played with commented how long the holes were for us play the right tee's for our skill level. All drinks and snacks and top shelf drinks and beer included, the grilled hamburger was great, hand dipped ice cream every snack you could think of. We had pizza from restaurant at golf course and it was great and one day we had buttermilk breaded chicken and sent it back, the restaurant is beautiful and has outside seating. The drive to location from Indianapolis was without delays and good roads we chose not to go thru Chicago this trip. Forgot beds are great pillows not so much, not alot to do we walked alot, workout area very nice, no pool or spa yet maybe soon. Would highly recommend even with a few hiccups, it will happen with new place. Thank you for a great 3 day trip. Golf Course note, Monet Lisa hole is just like the pictures, wish they could have had the teams photo taken for additional price, what a keepsake that would have been from trip.
