More than a hotel – this is where silence, sea and precision meet. We came for a weekend. We stayed for something else. Stenungsbaden sits right by the water, but it’s not just the view that matters – it’s the pace. You move slower here. You breathe better. Sailboats drift outside your window. The kids flyboard with Aqua Event while you watch from the sauna by the sea. There’s warmth in the water and in the way the staff don’t try too hard – because they don’t have to. The rooms are quiet in the best way. Breakfast is effortless. And sometimes someone, like Alma at the buffet, takes a moment just to talk. Not because she has to – but because she means it. This isn’t just one of the best hotels in Sweden. It might be the best in Scandinavia. Book it if you want a place that doesn’t try to impress you – but somehow does.

Great location, great breakfast and friendly staff. However let down by rooms that are size of a boat cabin, one power socket in the room (none in bathroom) and three part curtains that do not protect from the sun so you wake up when the sun comes out. Bathroom toilet has a bad urine smell as I think there maybe drainage issues. Will be looking for somewhere else if possible for the area.

Gamla fläckar på prydnadskuddarna som låg på sängen. Endast ett 150*210 täcke som 2 personer skulle dela på, inget extra inrummet. Handtag på kylen hade kladdiga fläckar på. Man förväntade sig ett renare rum.

Hyggelig personale og god frokost. Litt skuffet over rommet. Står ikke til prisen. Dårlig belysning og kun vond skrivebordsstol å sitte i. Når det reklameres med daglig rengjøring forventer man at håndklær lagt på gulvet (slik man oppfordres til) og skitne kopper blir byttet. Det skjedde ikke.
