Location is in Franschhoek but also close to Stellenbosch so perfectly located. Great service and very friendly and helpful owner and staff.

Very homely place to stay, very clean and located between Franshoek and Stellanbosch, and right in among all the wineries. Breakfasts are as much as you want with extremely friendly owners. Trevor is old school and keeps the place in top condition. Beds are big, water aplenty. This a great location for a group as the bar is an honestly box and beside the pool for socialising. Like a lot of these places you need to drive for dinner or you have to stay in Franshoek, which itself, is a beautiful town with great restaurants

Unfortunately we only stayed for one night as we were attending a wedding nearby so missed all that the Klein Waterval has to offer. However our short stay was great and the country feeling most relaxing.

We absolutely loved our stay at Klein Waterval Lodge! Accommodation is great, views over the wine yard is 10+, great facilities, delicious breakfast, but mostly we were amazed by the great hospitality of the Ezna and her team. We would definately recommend staying here!! We will be back!

We absolutely loved our few days at Klein Waterfall. For us this provided the perfect balance, a fabulous location with an easy reach of everything that Franschhoek has to offer but also a very peaceful sanctuary. We were wonderfully looked after by Ezna and Trevor and all their staff and made to feel very at home. There is a wonderfully stocked honesty bar, lots of cozy areas to sit in the evenings, a stack of interesting books and games provided. Rooms are very spacious and tastefully decorated with attention to detail. Morning and evening views from the rooms and terraces are wonderful over the valley. A very clean and well kept pool area. Highly recommended.

Magnificent accommodation in a magnificent part of the world. From the moment we stepped through the front gate we were made to feel like family. Ezna and Bridgit anticipated and facilitated our every need. They could not do enough to make our stay a relaxing and enjoyable experience. From suggestions to visiting wineries and restaurants, making reservations plus transport options. Accommodation was a two level villa, spotlessly clean and maintained overlooking the grapevines and mountains. Luxurious 4 poster bed, large comfortable couches, all amenities plus two TVs Large well maintained pool and surroundings to relax around. We always felt welcome and safe. A delicious fresh and cooked breakfast was served daily on the terrace. We were even given a packed breakfast for our early morning departure The perfect stay close to the beautiful village of Franschhoek. Ezna and Bridgit are the most amazing hosts I have ever encountered. I cannot recommend a stay at Klein Waterval Lodge more highly. Thank you

What an exquisite place this is, just wonderful in every way. Set in one of the most beautiful places in the world, this is a haven of peace and comfort, brilliantly managed. We loved everything - from our gorgeous 2-storey thatched suite, with its comfortable king bed, immaculate bathroom and incredible views, to the sparkling pool with honesty bar nearby and the delicious and abundant breakfasts. Ezna, Bridgit and team do everything possible to make sure you can relax as well as enjoy all that the Franschhoek area has to offer. We can’t wait to return!
