We enjoyed our short stay at the Rosenberg Guest House. Our “King Room with Balcony” was spacious and well-equipped, the grounds are nice, the breakfast was good, and out is a short walk to many food and shopping options. The only drawback was that the bathroom did not have a closable door or even a curtain. Frankly, a bit odd when you went to the toilet. Would stay again.

Das Hotel liegt in sehr zentraler, aber ruhiger Lage, am Ende einer wenig befahrenen Seitenstraße. Stellenbosch hat uns gefallen und war recht europäisch. Das Personal war sehr nett und hat uns auch direkt mit den Koffern geholfen.
Das Frühstück war recht einfach gehalten, aber soweit gut. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit einfacherer Ausstattung gebucht. Zeitnah sollte insb. das Bad renoviert werden. Es war aber trotzdem noch sauber.
Preis Leistung hat soweit gepasst!

Communication with Rozenburg beforehand was excellent. We had a room on the ground floor - it was small with little space to move or put the suitcases, but it was fine for one night or two, and the shower room was specious. We appreciated the coffee machine and there was a little private patio which was nice. The house and gardens are lovely, verdant and calm, and very close to the town centre, and safe to walk. We were warmly welcomed. The breakfast was good, although a few cheese options instead of cold meat would have been welcomed. Lovely to sit on the terrace and enjoy the morning. All in all a very enjoyable stay!

Vorsicht , die Bilder entsprechen nicht der Wahrheit. Das Bad ist verschimmelt und die Duschkabine aus den 70zigern ist komplett verrostet. Die Zimmergrößen stimmen auch nicht in dem renovierungsbedürftigen Hotel. Vorsicht: Direkt vor dem Hotel befindet sich eine riesige Baustelle Be careful, the pictures do not correspond to reality. The bathroom is mouldy and the shower cubicle from the 70s is completely rusted. The room sizes are also not correct in the hotel, which is in need of renovation. Be careful: there is a huge construction site right in front of the hotel.

We stayed at this lovely guesthouse in a very convenient location. We did not quite like our bedroom as it was too cramped and it was at the back of the house but to be fair, we got the last room available. Lovely breakfast by the pool.

Great hotel room let down by bathroom
Breakfast and staff fantastic our bedroom had a very small bathroom with a small shower very hard to regulate and somewhat reminiscent of the 60s!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1-night stay. The welcome and service from the staff was unfailingly warm, efficient and helpful. The room (Room 8) was stunning, large, beautifully decorated and with a massive bi-fold door opening onto a small balcony overlooking the gardens and pool. The gardens and quiet location gave a tremendously relaxing environment to enjoy, while still being very close to the town centre. Breakfast, served on the lovely sunny patio, was very good.
