Beautiful setting
Wonderful stay at River Manor Boutique Hotel - the setting and service were fantastic. Location was fantastic - just a few mins walk into Stellenbosch.
Communal spaces were beautiful and the breakfast was delicious, with a lot of options. Only suggestion would be to redecorate the bedrooms - the bathrooms feel a little tired.

Wunderschönes und charmantes Hotel im Herzen von Stellenbosch. Hätten wir gewusst, wie schön es dort ist, hätten wir mehr Zeit hier verbracht statt in einer anderen Unterkunft. Falls wir nochmal nach Stellenbosch kommen, werden wir sicher wieder dort bleiben.

Three couples stayed for three nights. Great location in the heart of Stellenbosch, lovely boutique look & feel including stunning outside space. Fantastic staff. Lovely breakfasts & sweet touch of afternoon tea. All day bar & light eats available. On site drivers. The only reason I’ve not given it a 5 is the bathrooms are a bit tired & some of the furniture is pretty basic. But the beds were really comfortable (we all slept super well) & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We’d defo return.

A cozy feel, the lounge area is so homey, the rooms are comfortable and every detail is attended too. Saki and team were amazing. The location is suitable for walks, cycling and adventures into night life. The staff are superb and what comes from the kitchen is exequisite

A fan of staying at the Tree House (Cape Town) 6 yrs ago prompted us to book with the Living Journey for the majority of our trip this time. The RM Boutique Hotel was second on our destination list. It’s situated so well for all in Stellenbosch.The team are fabulous always smiling (that’s genuine too) and always happy to help whatever we requested. The layout and style of this hotel is so laid back easy and relaxing. The room was comfortable, spacious and quiet, providing a fabulous sleep quality. The hotel provides a really good breakfast with fresh quality fruit, cereals yoghurts pastries and a list of cooked plates which the Full English is delicious. The pools here provide a peaceful haven to relax around and loungers ooze comfort. If only the weather could heat the water more quickly! Safe parking and easy access. Thanks to all the team and hello and gold stars to Sakhi and Phelo who were tops. On to the next LJ destination but this is a great memory to cherish. STAY HERE it does what it claims. Great value. Brilliant, thanks.

Superb service.....always a smile and an offer of a coffee or a drink. Comfortable nice size rooms. Beautiful pool area after a day out. The tea and cake laid out in the afternoon is a lovely touch. We have already booked for our next stay in a few days time!
