Boschendal Estates must rank as one of THE places to stay in the Stellenbosch area. Surrounded by mountains on one side and rolling meadows on the other, the scenery is spectacular, and the location is ideal for visiting vineyards in the region. The Retreat Cottages where we stayed were charming and the staff at both the Deli and Werf restaurants were most helpful. Special mention for Marylise who went out of her way to accommodate our requirements and Peter our young hiking trail guide who persisted despite a severe allergy attack. Great breakfast at the Werf too!

It was a great hotel to stay in. Appreciate the staff and was well located. Came for one night. Breakfast was great. Haha TV options could be better and wifi strength is not the best. But you not there for that stuff.

Wir haben in einem wunderschönen Cottage übernachtet. Nebenan war gleich ein Pool zum relaxen.
Die Restaurants, Weinproben und der Farmshop waren allerdings 2,5km entfernt. Waren, aber mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen.
Das Abendessen im Werf Restaurant war super lecker, ebenfalls das enthaltene Frühstück am Morgen. Wir würden die Unterkunft bei einer erneuten Reise nach Südafrika wieder buchen.
