Friendly and helpful staff, wonderful breakfast. However the rooms looked nothing like the pictures they changed the decor of the rooms. I was offered a different option that was acceptable, however they should definitely update pictures online.

Mysigt och charmigt Guest House med bästa läget
Väldigt trevligt och bekvämt boende med absolut bästa läget. Rum nummer 3 var stort och rymligt med en fin balkong och stort praktiskt badrum med hög kvalitet på handdukar och linne.
Lite familjär frukostmatsal med ett litet men bra urval och fin service. De allmänna utrymmena var fina men med lite mer kärlek och känsla för detaljer kunde detta ställe bli extra bra. Ingen möjlighet till servering av vin eller snacks på plats och heller inget kylskåp på rummet!
Vi hade turen att möta Lindsey som var väldigt proffesionell och tillmötesgående och erbjöd sig att hjälpa till med det mesta. Hon kunde verkligen ge ett gott värdskap i högsta klass

The location is good, on the verge of the town centre. Beautiful building. Beds are very comfortable. Parking is good.
How ever a small room, nowhere to put your suitcase, no soap for washing hands first day, no garbage bin, no fridge, no hairdryer. We were expecing a bit more from "the luxury living" slogan.

Great location!
We arrived on Christmas Day and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. The guest house has a great location and is in a quiet area, easy walking distance to shops and restaurants in Stellenbosch. I would add an area of shade on the roof terrace. However, my friend and I both booked here, his room was significantly larger than mine for the same price.

The pictures on the web site are nothing like the real experience. I believe the hotel must be in the process of modernisation as the downstairs area is looking much more chic and modern that the photos. The upstairs has been stripped of all rugs, art and decor.....The bed was however, very comfortable and the room was clean. The hotel location was perfect, close to amenities but in a pretty and quiet side road. There were no staff available in the evenings.

The hotel seems to be mid makeover, with the downstairs being close to finished (although lacking in decor everywhere, possibly due to the renovations). The rooms were spacious, the bed was comfortable, and it was very clean. The air con was a bit noisy and the toilet was broken (although usable) . The hotel staff all left at 5pm, and we had to let in a guest who had just arrived from Europe, who joined us for a beer while waiting for someone to arrive and check him in. There was no ice available on a very hot day, and we had to go and buy our own. However, the location was perfect, with easy walking access to town and the stadium where the cycling event was taking place.

The Villa Grande Guest house in Stellenbosch was very very nice! The room was amazing and also the bathroom! More than we expected! Also the employees were very kind and helpfull. The breakfast was made on order and very good. The Villa Grande is located very good! When we go to Stellenbosch, we will certainly stay here again! Pieter & Linda
