Vorig jaar een gepocheerd stukje zalm gegeten met spinazie in roomsaus en krieltjes met peterselie. Heel lekker en super verzorgd. Dit jaar hetzelfde genomen maar men wilde mij van gedachte laten veranderen door een gebakken stuk zalm aan te bieden met sla en frietjes. Dus hier klopte al iets niet. Dit jaar hetzelfde besteld maar een klein koud uitgebakken stuk zalm gekregen met het vel naar boven (verbrand) en aan de onderkant was de zalm bruin aangebakken, te droog en niet eetbaar. De saus was identiek als vorig jaar maar in plaats van de krieltjes kreeg ik 3 schijven aardappel. Hier moeten we volgend jaar ook niet meer zijn of misschien als ze dit lezen eens gaan nadenken. Ik had liever gehad dat ze gezegd hadden dat de gepocheerde zalm en krieltjes uitverkocht waren. Dan had ik wel iets anders genomen.

After the connection between Vorarlberg and Tyrol was cut off due to heavy rain, we were lost on the road to Steeg. We entered the Styrolerhof and were warmly received by a friendly waitress who advised us, in a very professional manner, in the choice of a pastry, in this case a very nice Strudel. The receptionist (or perhaps she was the owner of this cozy place?), with great kindness and empathy for our situation as shipwrecked on the road, made and printed out on the computer a route for us so that we could reach our destination (Seefeld) despite the roadblocks. Thanks to her we arrived safely in SEEFELD. Despite our short stay, we noticed that human warmth and a very friendly atmosphere reigned in this hotel.

Wir waren 2 Nächte im Styrolerhof in Steeg. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend (bis auf eine Ausnahme-siehe unten). Das Abendessen hat uns geschmeckt, und besonders das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Da ich gerne früh aufstehe, konnte ich das Schwimmbad sogar als Einzelgast genießen. Es gab nur eine unangenehme Erfahrung, nämlich den Tiroler Kellner. Dass er sämtliche Gäste duzt, könnte man ja noch übersehen. Aber sein Ton ist respektlos und das Wörtchen "Entschuldigung" oder ein "Das tut mir leid" kennt er nicht. Nur ein Beispiel: Wir wollten unser Dessert ca. 10 min nach der Hautspeise, und er hat diesen Wunsch auch angenommen. Als er das Dessert nach 1 Stunde brachte, habe ich dezent auf den Zeitunterschied hingewiesen. Seine Antwort: "Dann muascht halt sMaul aufmachen!" So etwas geht nicht. Ich habe trotzdem seinetwegen keinen Punkt abgezogen, weil sonst alles gepasst hat.
