Perfect location for a ski in ski out at the base of the ski area. The rooms are clean for the most part. The master bathroom started to smell like sewage the last two days of my stay. My room was on the second floor, not sure if everything started to back up when the hotel got more crowded.

The room is old and the soundproofing is poor. It is close to the ski resort and the hotel staff are very friendly. Snowboards and shoes can be stored in the storage near the cable car and someone will deliver them. It is mainly convenient for skiing, and other facilities are average.

The views from this 3rd floor, 2-bedroom condo are worth the two flights of stairs. You have direct views of the Howelsen Hill ski jump across the Yampa River, and can enjoy watching people ski and ride day into night. For the first time ever I left belongings at a hotel. Homewood Suites by Hilton at Steamboat Springs was efficient and helpful in finding my items and shipping them promptly to my home. Thank you to the staff.

Average hotel. For the price, we'd stay again. I enjoyed having the loft room and kitchen available. We didn't get housekeeping on a 2 night stay and there was not enough coffee for two days. Bed was comfortable, pillows good. It's definitely an outdated place. Isolated from town. We didn't use the shuttle because we read other negative reviews. The doors to the rooms do slam shut and we could hear everything from the hallways, even up in our loft. Nothing terrible, but nothing outstanding.

newer hotel, clean, close to downtown, excellent mexican restaurant nearby (walkable), hotel bar open in evenings, small outdoor pool, 10 person hot tub (clean, in good working order), and free hot breakfast. Rooms seem well insulated for sound.
