Residence Inn Steamboat Springs

newer hotel, clean, close to downtown, excellent mexican restaurant nearby (walkable), hotel bar open in evenings, small outdoor pool, 10 person hot tub (clean, in good working order), and free hot breakfast. Rooms seem well insulated for sound.

Hotel and staff were great. Disappointing was the fact that pool and hot tub were out of service during our stay.

Great! For us on a road trip it was a perfect place to rest… w plenty stores and restaurants w a walking distance…. I recommend:)

Absolutely enjoyed my brief stay with them.

Quiet room, good breakfast, and great location. We walked from the hotel to the Yampa River Trail in about five minutes for a visit to the Botanic Gardens. On the other hand, the $10 fee for parking our car in the hotel parking lot was unexpectedand somethingI haven't seen at other Residence Inns.

The Residence Inn is a convenient place to stay especially for just a few days and if you have a pet. Breakfast is pretty good, bus to the mountain is just across the street, Safeway and other necessities right next door. It would be better if they had their own shuttle to mountain and it’s not particularly cozy for longer than a long weekend.

Great staff. Convenient location close to everything.. Love the free shuttle . Everyone in town was nice, friendly and welcoming…. Quin, Chris and Paola at the front were very professional and informative and genuinely nice people all over….

I wish I could say it would be a positive review as past stays here have been pleasant. Two things stood out as underwhelming. Word to the wise if you are the parents of a baby, they don’t have cribs. We were told upon inquiring twice that they indeed have cribs. What they have are pack n plays with understandable wear and tear. That’s definitely not a crib in my book. Careful walking around the property as well. My family took a spill on some non salted sidewalk area that had become icy during the evening. I looked for signage warning of this, but couldn’t locate any nearby. Perhaps because this is a franchised location, and it is certainly more difficult to not cut corners, what with razor thin margins, but I didn’t have a great stay. Where shame is due, so there is credit where credit is due. It’s a great hotel continental breakfast, good location in town, solid heated pool, sneaky good beer list, and the elevators aren’t dreadfully slow. I also moved rooms 3 times due to things including a forgotten box spring in a bed and all were clean. Can’t look past the the crib error or carelessness with safety.

I was truly impressed with this Residence Inn. I had zero complaints, it was all very good, but a few things stood out: 1) The breakfast was really good for a free buffet. The lady who runs the breakfast was always putting fresh food out. 2) The hot tub is large and seemed quite clean. 3) The staff was all very helpful. Just a really good stay for a 4 day ski trip to Steamboat. The ski storage room in lobby is also a nice touch. Also: There is on-site parking, and a Safeway supermarket a half block away. And there is a Ski Haus store across the street to rent gear. And the free bus stop to town and to the ski resort is a half block away! Note: It is an expensive hotel. Probably 3x more $ than most Residence Inn's I have stayed at. I used Bonvoy points.
