Legacy Vacation Resorts Steamboat Springs Suites

When Isabella checked us in she was friendly and helpful. Our one bedroom suite was nicely updated, spacious, and stocked with more than we needed (toiletries, pots/pans, dish soap, etc). The heat worked very well, the shower was nice and hot, and the bed was comfortable. Ran to Walmart around the corner to buy a rug for inside the front door as our snowy shoes were quite slippery on the flooring. It was tough to turn onto the street when going somewhere as the plows caused high snow mounds that we couldn’t see around/over for oncoming traffic. For that same reason it was almost impossible to walk our dog around the area; we ended up having to put him in the car and drive somewhere else. The staff was very kind and let us have a late checkout since it wasn't a busy arrival day. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely book with them again.

Good things were location, cleanliness, and modern (flipped) updates, big kitchen with all needed cooking appliances. Bad things were: room wasn’t ready upon arrival two hours after checkin (same for several other people waiting); noise - window A/C units kept in during winter created only a thin sheet of plastic separating outdoors. Lots of stomping, carts rolling, yelling at night, and traffic noise right outside bedrooms; poor responsiveness for missing items (no coffee maker - took three calls over several hours), no soap or shampoo in showers (delivered on last day), not enough coffee packets (never delivered despite multiple calls). Shuttle service very iffy. Sometimes only one running during high volume times. Advertisement on trip.com did not reveal that place was under major construction so no pool or hot tub or ski lockers available. Sidewalks and entry extremely icy and dangerous to walk on. Makeshift second floor check in room (due to construction) required walking on icy walkways and staircases to get to. Surprised they could get away with this from an insurance perspective.

The outside looked in poor shape but the rooms are all remodeled and look great and modern. Friendly staff, hot tub, quiet, and comfy beds, walkin showers. Many restaurants are within short drive. Full kitchen in unit grocery stores are end of street.

This is a great place to stay on a budget. The suites are spacious with a nice kitchen. The hot tub is the size of a bathtub the checkin process was crazy. There are some things that need improving but you get what you pay for.

Good location So it was a bit expensive for my budget. Very clean newly remodeled external entry. Three story walk up. Kitchen had most stuff necessary to cook except enoughpans. Wasn’t happy with $16 resort fee. Location was excellent and had a shuttle to the ski hill next time I’ll go someplace cheaper.
