Marianne and Peter are brilliant. Nothing is too much for them to make your stay the best. The park is set in idyllic surroundings on Pleasant Creek. It's quiet and restful and frogs sing you to sleep at night. The amenities are clean and the grounds immaculately maintained. Even though you are so close to the town centre and many attractions you would think you were in the bush. I highly recommend the stay.

Not only a lovely place to camp but lovely owners as well. Marianne and Peter made us feel welcome from the ’get-go’. A great base to explore the silo art trail. Plenty to do and see in Stawell, and close to Ararat, Great Western and the Grampians. Marianne is a great ambassador for the local region. The site facilities are well maintained, clean and functional and the caravan sites are large and grassed, not to mention the access to free herbs growing around the park. Other surprise to find the Park is located on the original site of the first Stawell Gift.

Our hosts Marianne and Peter were excellent they informed us of eateries, interesting places and checked on us upon arrival to make sure everything was to our expectations, you don't see that in many caravan parks. We were there for 9 days which included Christmas Day, park very quiet and clean, Peter works very hard to present this park in pristine condition. The amenities were clean, lots of hot water. Works incessantly to maintain the grassed areas. The camp kitchen was the cleanest we have come across. In all the park is a credit to these two hardworking owners. We certainly will be back and have already spread the word to all of our fellow caravaning friends. Nothing was too much trouble, so friendly and always smiling. This is what we look for in a park, great hospitality. Made our Christmas special. Thanks Marianne, Peter and staff.

Marianne and Peter have a beautiful set up here! The camp Kitchen was perfect, lots of equipment, spacious, and the cleaned we’ve seen between Perth and Sydney! They couldn’t help us enough. Lovely grounds, lake, fire pits if desired and the cabins are spacious and very clean! Lots of different facility blocks. Easy walk to the coffee shops, Macas etc.

Our privacy was not respected by the staff. The owner kept knocking our door to ask how many people are staying inside and which one is our car. Although all this information was provided during check-in. We were stopped and interrogated at few places inside the park like which cabin/tent we belong and how many people are registered and is there any visitor with us or not. This was by far the worst holidays we had ever in Australia and would never be coming again.

Extremely rude staff specially the lady Marianne who SHOUTED SO BADLY and asked us to GET OUT OF THE PARK IMMEDIATELY as its 10:30am. We checked-out our tent site at 09:45am and were standing next to our car having one last cup of coffee before we hit the road, outside the six tents of our family friends who were staying at this caravan park for another night. Her attitude was highly unprofessional, didn't give us any single warning but started to yell GET OUT NOW. GET OUT NOWWW and continued this for the next whole minute which i took to fasten the seat belts of my kids and start moving my car out of the park. What a way to end someone's holidays. I am brown, may be she was racist or having some geniun attitude problem. Park and amenities were dated too, tent sites were all close to the busy road so expect constant noise. I would recommend to STAY AWAY from this park in any case. We made this terrible mistake as nothing else was available for this long weekend.

We stayed in a cabin (little black box!) opposite the Avoca river. The cabin was 36oC when we arrived, but after running the A/C for a few hours & then leaving windows/door open overnight it was a cool comfortable 16oC by morning. The "cabins" look a bit like mini cargo containers which have been fitted out with kitchen, bathroom & small bedroom. All clean with basic appliances & facilities. The major problem is that they are BLACK and consequently absorb radiant heat. This may not be such a problem in winter, but in summer!!! Apparently some are also black on the inside too. Staff friendly.

The Staff were very rude on the phone and lied about providing a refund due to illegal misleading advertising. A "King Pod" with shared facilities, is not for one couple, but for 8 randoms sharing your piddly pod and everything else! Kinky eh!!!

some bright spark has painted the cabins heat absorbing black and then painted the interior the same light absorbing black so its like you’re in a cave - stayed in cabin 30 no stove or oven just microwave and an electric frypan - doona is heavy and might be good for freezing nights but one very thin blanket is only other option - chairs for watching tele are uncomfortable rubbish - wont be back
