We took a last minute break after a very busy month upon arrival we were made to feel like long lost friends and spoken to like family Keely the general manager her husband Brian the head chef are excellent as are all the staff .this is a hotel like they used to be where there main aim is that you stay is perfect and it was Excellent accommodation excellent food and wonderful service and surroundings this is a piece of perfection in the Lake District We will be back Thank you to all of you for all the hospitality you showed us

Myself and my daughter stayed for two nights in woodland hot tub cabin It was fabulous! Very private, clean and modern The hot tub was wonderful and so was the log burner We had everything we needed and enjoyed every minute The staff were great as was the food for our evening meals. I couldn’t fault it at all

From start to finish the stay was absolutely fabulous.... room was amazing .... staff outstanding, totally relaxing, food amazing service top notch ,can't wait to come back and silvia is an asset to the business from the moment we arrived she made us feel welcome and as if we were old friends and not just a room number

Beautiful, private little cabins with hot tub. Ideal for a quiet couples retreat. Food in restaurant was delicious home cooked. Staff very polite and chatty. Pool was a nice temperature. Location was great for visiting Windermere. We would definitely recommend Newby Bridge Hotel.

Great hotel with fantastic staff. I highly recommend Natasha and Scott behind the bar, they were very professional. Also a great shout out to Keeley who runs the show, she was brilliant, extremely friendly, very customer oriented and top notch. 👍

Lovely quiet self contained pods, log burner and shower room. Private hot tub.
Pool was lovely and the breakfast of good standard.

My first Christmas on a coach tour for a number of years. The staff and management were superb - friendly, professional and eager to please. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom superb. A Christmas card and gift awaited on arrival. The food was superb, particularly the Christmas lunch. A hot drink and seasonal pastry awaited us on our return from our days out. The public areas are cosy and full of sofas. These could do with renovating as they are very low and need respringing - a minor criticism which did not spoil our enjoyment. The owner could learn something about customer service from his staff. Thank you for an enjoyable Christmas.

Not a great start when we got there someone had booked us in for the 31st January instead of the 31st of December no idea how they managed it because at the time of booking they asked if we would be joining them for New Year’s Eve dinner. So the garden room we wanted was booked so we had to mess around going in one room for one night and move to another room for the next. Everything after that was just nice however must say all the staff are a credit to the hotel nothing too much trouble and very helpful and polite.
