The location was fair but honestly there is nothing in Sratesville that draws crowds(we were in Statesville for my son's all stars little league tournament). The room was pretty big. The e was their TV is set up is a little wierd, but it works. Beds were comfy. Room was clean (though it did have an odd smell when we first arrived). The included breakfast was good, but ends earlier than most (aroundn9:30am). Do not try to get the late check out, apparently not all members of the staff know that they offer that extra time. All in all I am.happy with my stay and would stay here again.

Very clean and spacious. Well- equipped with refrigerator and microwave. Bed was comfortable. Convenient for I-77 travelers. Welcoming staff. Breakfast was good. Great value. We have stayed here before and we will stay again. Thank you.

The front desk clerk was thoughtful, efficient, and very pleasant. He had a terrific work ethic and accommodated all of our needs. He paid attention to details and knew we had an individual with a walker with us. He gave us an extremely convenient room so our guest with a walker did not have to travel far. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and hot with many options.

Disappointed about a few mishaps… 1. online check in, you fill it all out a request for an up grade enter all information and get to hotel to find out from the clerk that feature doesn’t work. 2. Microwave Was making ticking noises while off it was hard to sleep. 3. The man making the breakfast food used no gloves preparing it and it wasn’t very good so we ate out for the rest of our stay. 4. The room bathroom shower was not clean.

Checked in online so I would only have to pick up keys at desk when I arrived. Didn’t happen still had to have ID and credit card at desk after I had already uploaded with online check in.
First room we checked into-no hair dryer-TV didn’t work- and there was dried food in the carpet. Requested move to another room. So far so good on 2nd room. Will most likely not stay at Microtel again, with stick with Marriott hotels.
