This place was the most disgusting place we have ever been in. We had to buy lysol wipes, towels and washcloths and pillows to stay the night! The microwave and fridge were gross! So much dust you could write the date in it!

My husband and I stayed here for two weeks on business. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We never heard any noise coming from other rooms or guests, which was great considering we work third shift. The entire staff was awesome! They were super friendly and made us feel welcome in Starkville. They were really kind to our nervous chihuahua who quickly warmed up and looked forward to interacting with staff.

First of all, a 7 day advance cancellation policy is absurd!! I stay in hotels all over the country and it’s typically 72- 48 hours. Secondly, I tried to get in touch with someone at this hotel for a solid 10 days prior and COULD NOT get anyone to answer the phone.. ever.. I don’t even know how they book guests. They do NOT ANSWER! Then we arrived with no parking for the over priced room. There is a bar in the parking lot and there was no where to park. We ended up pulling my car up on a curb so it didn’t get hit. This was the worse experience of a hotel I have ever had. Their corporate guest relations was absolutely NO HELP either!!

This last minute booking would not have been my first choice for a quick weekend to see our son at MSU but it was clean and comfortable. The room needed updating and 2 nightstands would have been nice rather than one. The office staff was nice. The biggest issue for us was no coffee. A small pot or a K-cup maker in the room would have been great. Walking to the gas station next door for coffee made me really not want to book here again. The bar/pub across the parking lot was entertaining and served what looked like good pizza. (we did not eat there). The bar was busy and a bit loud until about 1 a.m. both nights. Maybe a room more distance from the bar would be better.
