After attending a tourism conference promoting Shangri-La, visiting Balagezong was a must—and it exceeded expectations! Despite our late arrival due to snow, the staff’s warm hospitality shone as they kept the chef late to prepare us a delicious meal. The traditional ******* architecture and breathtaking mountain views from our window created an unforgettable experience. The hotel’s location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and activities. We can’t wait to return and share this incredible place with friends. Highly recommend!

Really Love this hotel in Shangalila ancient town. Every detail made us feel full of sincerity and care. The decoration style of the hotel is unique, which not only retains the traditional charm of the ancient city, but also incorporates modern design concepts. The staff were very kind, attentive, and helpful. They were very patient in helping us with online arrangements for my trip planning and suggesting the good foods nearby the hotel. The room butler upgraded us, with floor heating and air conditioning. Both the living room and bedroom can see the woods. The environment is very quiet. It is a good place for vacation. Ram Butler's service is warm, thoughtful and meticulous. The itinerary arrangement and the driver master are very smooth. We clearly felt that the management of the entire scenic area is unified and standardized. Every driver and other staff we met during the period were very enthusiastic to give directions and reminded us to contact the butler on the return trip. We visited Bala Village that day and had dinner in Bala Village by the way. We did not make a reservation with the chef of the Snow Mountain Ice Spring Restaurant in advance. As a result, the chef thought we came back for dinner and was waiting for us. His professional attitude made us admire him very much. The service and scenic experience of this tour are perfect!

We had a great stay at the 5th Meteorite Light Year Hotel in Shangri-La and would definitely return. The hotel is in an excellent location, making it easy to explore the old town including the temples and the big prayer wheel, and offers the added convenience of free underground parking. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free using a translation app, with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are well-equipped with underfloor heating, ensuring a cozy atmosphere, and the air conditioning system includes oxygen regulation, which is particularly beneficial at high altitudes in case of AMS. However, there are a few minor downsides. The hotel does not offer a proper international breakfast, and the reception is somewhat difficult to find, especially for foreigners like us. Additionally, housekeeping did not replenish shower gel, amenities, or coffee in the room during our stay. Despite these small issues, the hotel provides outstanding value for money, and we would happily stay here again!

Many thoughtful touches in the hotel, like the towel warmer & oxygen concentrator (although it was loud, it sounded like rain and we didn’t have trouble sleeping). The bed was also very comfortable, and the overall aesthetic of the hotel is very modern. The location is slightly far from the center of Dukezong, and required us to walk a dark and quiet alley to get to and from the shuttle pick up point.

The room is very comfortable, very simple and generous design style, people can't help but want to stay a few more days, but I am forced to return the trip. But this is not the most important, the most important thing is that you will know everyone here, they are your friends here. Behind every tile wall, after every barley grass, when you stop, you will see things that are better than commercial scenery. Arro Khampa, as a brand-name B&B, offers a truly exceptional experience. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming, helping us arrange a shuttle to the airport and carrying our luggage throughout the entire journey to the inn. They were incredibly helpful. We were welcomed with a ******* Hada and warm ginger tea! We even had Yunnan cross-bridge rice noodles made especially for us, which was so touching! We also had a delicious local chicken hot pot for dinner, which was absolutely delicious! A must-try! The hotel owner learned we were going on a hike and offered us a free shuttle to the Nanbao Ranch hiking trailhead. We were so grateful! This was my first trip to Yunnan, my first time in Shangri-La. I was not only amazed by the scenery, but also deeply moved by the local people's sincerity, kindness, and warmth! Tashi Delek! Goodbye Niru! Goodbye Arro Khampa!

It was really great. It was my first time to experience camping. It was really cold in Shangri-La Haba Snow Mountain in November, but it was really great to sit in the camp and look at the Haba Snow Mountain opposite. It was really nice to feel the tranquility and beauty. The B&B is in American camping style. There are about 10 campsites. The furniture styles inside are designed and arranged by the owner himself. It is very warm. If there are many people coming together, you can sing by the bonfire at night. The foot of the snow mountain is so beautiful. The owner and the proprietress of the B&B are very nice. They also raised a very well-behaved and enthusiastic German Shepherd. They can guard the house at night and ask for food when eating. Hahaha, there is also a coffee shop at the foot of the mountain, which is also super good. If the weather is good, three or two people will get together in the coffee shop at night to chat about life and look at the starry sky. It is beautiful. It happened to rain when I came to Haba Snow Mountain this time, so I didn’t see Haba Snow Mountain, but camping on rainy days has a different flavor. I always have to leave some regrets and look forward to the next wonderful encounter.

The villa room with meadow view was upgraded to a suite on the upper floor by the front desk, which is basically the same as the official picture. I went out and called the driver to come up with a battery car. The hotel balcony faces Napahai and the ring road around the lake. It is also very nice to sit under the canopy outside the lobby and drink coffee. It is very comfortable and feels better than the Internet celebrity restaurant because it is quiet. The breakfast is average, but there is no charge for children's breakfast. I will stay here again next time if I have the chance. In addition, it is more convenient to drive by yourself, so you can avoid the crowds and go around the lake in the morning and evening.
