I highly recommend Kegongdi! I booked it two months in advance. When the hotel learned that it was an anniversary, they upgraded the room type and decorated it. The hotel's toiletries are Bulgari, the hair dryer is Dyson, and the sanitary ware is Hansgrohe. It can be seen that they are of high quality. The breakfast is also very exquisite, and the cross-bridge rice noodles are delicious! Shaxi is really a place full of memories. Staycation in Kegongdi, drink coffee, look at the small bridges and flowing water in the ancient town, and experience the special Jiama and tile cats. Thank you, we had a wonderful stay here so close to the Dali Ancient Town (only 1 minute away from the hotel). The hotel also organised a private tour to take my husband and I around Erhai and even helped us took lots of pretty photos when we were at Dali Santorini. The driver was very patient and recommended places to visit. The hotel room was very clean and very comfortable. They also prepared some bath salt and rose petals if I want to soak in a hot bath after a long day (and of course I did 😁🥰). The breakfast was nice, even gave us a bak chang because it was Dragon Boat Festival that day, so sweet of them. Staffs were very helpful, organised to pick us up and took us back to Dali Bullet Train station with no problem at all.
