A tale of two lovebirds... The Ginger (lovingly named after me) is a special part of our love story. Our hope is that you find everything you need so you can focus on the ones you love and make memories in the hills of WV that will last a lifetime. We spent nearly a year renovating The Ginger. You will find a beautiful modern slightly boho space. Unplug and unwind in the brand new hot tub under the stars. Try to make sure you are at the Ginger for Sunset at least once, it is breathtaking. The spaceVery Private location, The Ginger is located on 19 acres with no other dwelling. There is Wifi at the ginger and the password for the network is posted on a label above the TV. Cell service and data is spotty in the mountains so please plan accordingly with your directions, GPS and navigation as the app may not be available when you arrive. There is however Wi-Fi at the glamper, but this cozy get away is best UNPLUGGED in our opinion. Please do NOT mess or unplug wires, hdmi cables or make any alterations to the audio visual setup. Leave all AV wires and devices as found. The awning outside is inoperative. Please do not bother it. The outside party lights should come on automatically once it gets dark. There is a collection of DVD's for your enjoyment. If you have a Roku or Netflix login you are welcome to use that as well. The TV is connected to the Internet. We have literally tried to think of everything, including, a hair dryer under the sink in the bedroom, iron and ironing board located in the master closet.Gas oven is decommissioned for safety purposes“ but the gas range/stove top is 100% functionalThe Shenandoah Valley is our home and We are excited to share our little slice of Heaven with you... look forward to a soul recharging get away Breathing in the mountain air. If you choose to explore, Berkeley Springs is a hidden gem. You will have several dining options and historical attractions including a public bath house dating back to the 1700's when George Washington visited! Old town Winchester is an amazing place to spend the day as well. The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley and the Gardens of Glen Burnie are a must see. If shopping is your jam, stroll through the walking mall (Loudoun Street Winchester) there you will find sweet locally owned shops and restaurants. Capon Bridge has down home cooking at Gregg's Diner or try the farmers Daughter for delicious farm fresh dairy, produce and meat and a pretty good craft beer selection. There is also an excellent Mexican Restaurant and an Anthony's Pizza that does deliver to Bloomery, just give them the address, and instructions to get through the gate.We have supplied some local tourist information in our house manual that is available once you enter the Ginger. The house manual is in a black binder on the kitchen table. Everything you need to know is in that binder. Please take the time to read through it. The driveway can be difficult in large vehicles and snow. Near the woods, there are animals, bugs, and more. We treat for bugs and animals but in the hills of West Virginia anything is possible. You may hear strange animal noises in the night and nearby cows mooing, but we have never had any problems with wild animals, but take normal precautions. Electricity, Tv, Road Conditions, Snow, Ice etc. cannot be guaranteed if there is a problem with the provider, weather or acts of God. The reservation must match the amount of guests at all time. If snowy weather, driveway may be impassable and you would need to walk up the driveway to glamper. Its about 400 yards from the bottom of the driveway. 4x4 required during snow and ice. Not responsible for inclement weather and NO refunds will be given. Please plan accordingly to visit our Glamper in the woods. This rental is managed by The Woodhenge Companies LLC, when booking this property all guest acknowledge that any and all disputes, settlements etc. will solely be made with The Woodhenge Companies LLC, and no others for any reason.By following through and booking for this reservation you agree to all terms and condition of the rental contractRemember to take all of your personal belongings/property with you when you leave. We will not be held responsible for items that are left behind. Please leave the Ginger the way that you found it. We understand that accidents happen from time to time but depending on the issue we we may have to ask you for reimbursement or replacement if needed. If for any reason something does happen during your stay at the Ginger we would appreciate you notifying us through the app as soon as possible and someone will get in touch with you. If it is an urgent matter then please contact us by phone. This gives us a heads up about the situation so we can clean and or replace items before the next guest arrives. In the past we have had to replace several different items last minute due to previous guests damaging or breaking them. This is stressful when we have to pay out of pocket costs for these items and we may not have enough time to replace items before the next guest arrivesAny linens that need professional attention or replaced we may need to ask for reimbursement for cleaning or replacement. This will need to be done in order to be reusable for other guestsCost of dry cleaning and or replacement :Duvet- $50.00Duvet cover- $20.00Quilt/comforter- 25.00Flat and fitted bed sheets- $20.00Mattress cover- $15.00Large pillows- $10.00Decorative pillows- $8.00pillow cases- $5.00Large bath towels- $8.00Bath rug- $6.00Small hand towels- $4.00wash cloths- $3.00Dish towel/mats- $2.00Any other property damages or replacement costs will be discussed with the guest once the host is made aware of the issue. Hot tub- Please shower before entering the hot tub. Body oils, soaps, and or lotions could contaminate the water and require us to drain the water and have it professionally cleaned and serviced before other guests can use it. Depending on the issue, it could cost anywhere between $100-$150 to have it drained, professionally cleaned, refilled, and the appropriate chemicals added for the hot tub to be back in service. You may be asked to reimburse us for the cost of any services needed after your stay. Please bring any issues with the hot tub to our attention right away. Any problems could be an inconvenience to upcoming guests who may have or want to cancel reservations due to the hot tub being out of service. So as a reminder please shower before getting in the hot tub and be mindful of items, food, and or drinks that you may have near the hot tub. Lockbox is hanging on the railing by the front door to the Ginger. When unlocking the Glamper please make sure the handle lock stays unlocked (by removing key when turned to the left) during your visit to help prevent a lock out. Return keys to lockbox immediately. The keys are to remain in the lock box at all times. Do NOT take the keys inside the Glamper. If there is an emergency lockout service call for miss management of the key it will be a $150.00 minimum service call. We have attached the keys to a string in the lock box so you will have to return them to the lock box. For some reason if the string is no longer attached due to a previous guest then please return keys to the lock box immediately. When leaving the Ginger always look to make sure keys are in lock box and spin the combination. At the end of the driveway please lock the gate behind you and spin the combination. This is a private location and to avoid any damages or stolen property it is very important that you lock up behind you. If the gate or the Ginger is left unlocked and or open you may be responsible for any damages or stolen property. No exterior loud noise or gatherings of non registered guests at any time.We try hard to keep our glamper fully stocked with all the items listed in the description but occasionally guests will utilize, remove or damage personal property and ample time may not be available to replace prior to the next guest. Next guest will not hold the host accountable if this happens. If you notice that something is running low or that you will be the last to use something please let us know so we can stock up before the next guest arrives. There is a $20 per night additional fee per person for persons over three people or all persons being added to an original reservation.“We love children, but our rules are no children under age 13.”due to the Ginger not being suitable for childrenWhile we value and respect pets and service animals we advertise our rental to be a hypoallergenic environment so we have to look out for our guests and we have a lot of guests who have pet allergies.
