"This hotel is very good. It is right in the town of Hofn. The town is not very big. I saw the northern lights in the hotel! I was very lucky. The room is very big and has a high ceiling. The family room can accommodate 4 people. It is a two-story loft. The price-performance ratio is very high. Breakfast is provided. Milk coffee is free all day!"

"There is a large parking lot at the door in the city. The hotel does not have an elevator, and it is difficult to carry large luggage if you live on a high floor. However, the guy at the front desk helped and carried two boxes upstairs at once. I give him a thumbs up."

"Service is very good, breakfast is delicious, but remind not to open the window! Don't believe that there are no mosquitoes in Iceland. I met the largest mosquitoes in my life and flew into the room. I didn't sleep well all night and was bitten all night."

"The room and the shared area are clean but one disadvantage is that you can hear each movement from your upstairs or outside your room, even they walked. Besides, the self- service laundry is a bit overpriced for us although maybe I do not have much idea on how the market price in Iceland shall be. The location is quite ok and parking is convenient. And there is sufficient space for the shared area to no matter enjoy your meal or take a rest. By the way, the bed is too soft for us and the amenities in the room is quite simple especially the coat hanger."

"The hotel is located next to the gas station at the entrance to the town and the rooms are simple and clean. There are supermarkets and various handicraft shops nearby. It is especially recommended that the restaurants in the town eat lobsters. Each has its own characteristics. In short, it is worth living in the town for two days."

" The bed and sheets are not very clean, and the whole body is itchy.
The service staff is very attentive and kind.
Unfortunately, breakfast is low cost and not much choice. Coffee is bitter and milk is not full.
The most unprofessional thing is that the restaurant service staff eats breakfast and organizes the table while eating directly with their hands. There is something in their mouths. The hands have been touching the food in the breakfast area, which is very unhygienic.
The room was very stuffy and the window was opened at night for ventilation, but the window broke and could not be closed in the middle of the night. Fortunately, the family tried to solve it, otherwise they would open the window all night and sleep coldly, and they would definitely be sick."

FfslimaiBecause I made an appointment to see the ice cave the next day, I found that it was only 46 kilometers away from the meeting point. Although I had to go back, the price was the most cost-effective, so I booked it.
We didn’t arrive at Glacier Lagoon until 10 o’clock in the evening. After taking pictures, we arrived at the hotel at 11:30. I discovered that there is a large glacier behind the hotel. You can completely see it from the window of the room. When you were lying on the bed, you also found that there was a skylight on the roof. You could see it while lying on the bed. See the stars and auroras!
The space is indeed a bit small (a common phenomenon in Icelandic hotels!), but despite its small size, it was fully equipped and we made dinner in the room. There is floor heating in the bathroom, which is very nice👍

BBO JINGVery appreciated for the host’s understanding that we can’t arrive to the hotel on the booking date, due to the road closed for the heavy snow. Through the phone call one of the male reception asked where we were and the told us not to move any more just stay in the safe place. And trip.com services help us to communicate with them and we got the full refund days later. Really thankful for all the kindness for the hotels.

There is no elevator, the highest should be two floors. It is very close to Hofen (Hepburn), and seafood can be eaten in the town.

It is about half an hour's drive from Ice Lake, but there is no gas station on the road to Ice Lake. It is necessary to fill the gas station in the opposite direction and then come to stay. It saves time.
We saw the aurora here, the front desk lady said, you are very lucky, but we can see 🥹 basically every week here.
Personally feel that this kind of farm accommodation is really cost-effective in Iceland, eat well and charge relatively low. We stayed in a double breakfast twin bed of about 900.
