It's a place that operates like a motel and a pension. I booked a motel room and replaced it with fashion. The room is not that big. There was a smell, so the bathroom and the window were opened. The boss is kind, but that's all. The parking lot is very small. The surrounding area is like a small city, so it was comfortable to eat.

급하게 잡은 출장이라 적당한 숙소를 구하기 힘들었다. 혼자 가는 것이기 때문에 저렴하고 시설이 깨끗하고 위치도 좋아야 했다. 그래서 고른 곳이 내설악펜션이었다. 문제는 도착해보니 외부 공사로 분위기가 어수선한 것이었다. 주인장을 찾아서 물어보니 오늘 공사중이라 예약이 없다고 했다. 나는 핸드폰의 예약내용을 들이밀며 이렇게 예약이 되어 있다고 우겼다. 그런데 자세히 보니 예약은 내가 도착한 다음날이었다. 빡빡한 일정이라 하루 더 잘 수도 없고 비가 온다고 하여 오늘 백담사까지의 탐방 일정을 마치려면 얼른 숙소를 구해야 할 처지였기에 오늘 밤 재워 달라고 사정 했다. 나이가 드니 잔 글자가 잘 안 보여 예약을 잘못한 것이라고 하소연까지. 방이 따뜻해질 지 모르겠다고 하며 올라가 보자고 하기에 함께 올라갔는데 다행히 난방이 잘 되었다. 결국 승인을 받고 어렵사리 탐방도 마쳤다. 깜깜해지니 인적도 없어 적막한 길을 터덜터덜 내려오며 그나마 잠자리가 있음에 감사하는 마음을 가졌다. 고맙습니다.
