This Minshuku is well located on the main road between airport and Miyanoura. If you don’t plan to drive, you can take the bus from the airport and will arrive in about 15 min at the Kokumae bus stop ( bus stop in front of the high school) . The bus stop is just in front of the Minshuku. Bus ride costs ¥200.
The overall condition of the Minshuku is good. The double room that we had was about 100 sqft, with a wash basin inside the room which is good. The futon were comfortable and blankets were warm. Toilet and shower are shared but they were very clean.
Dining area is nice and comfortable. Dinner is excellent with local food. There is free coffee and tea in the reception.
The Minshuku offer rental for hiking shoes if you don’t have any.
Overall I would recommend this place for the great location and price.

The rice looked delicious and added breakfast. Choice without regret
Although the large bath is small, there are all the things, but the sauna is not operated due to the corona effect.
Friendly owner and convenient parking, and there is a mart right in front of you, which is a good choice. However, due to the characteristics of Yakushima, where it rains a lot, it would be nice if there were tools to dry hiking boots in the accommodation, but this place has a strong ryokan personality, so if you are looking for hiking, it would be better to review other accommodations.

Very friendly and kind hosts! They drove us to the bus stop and made vegan cake for us. The onsen is also very beautiful and the rooms were perfect for our stay. If you come to Yakushima, you should definitely stay there!
Supermarket is only 5 min away by foot.

Typical Japanese-style room, beverage machine, air conditioning, refrigerator, separate toilet. There is a public single bathroom in the bath. There are also public washing machines and dryers.
The location is near Anfang Station (not Anfang Port), very convenient, surrounded by izakayas, restaurants, tastes good. There is also a Mos burger.
The room is slightly old and understandable.
The plane arrived at noon and let me check in early, thank you very much.

めちゃくちゃ良かった。ご飯はボリュームが凄く、味も最高だったのでついつい沢山お代わりしてしまった。部屋からはモッチョム岳を望む最高の眺め。チェックアウト前、ぜひ見ておいた方が良いと、千尋の滝に連れて行ってもらい、なんとバス停にもそのまま送ってもらえた。最高の宿！

It is close to Miyanoura Port and on the side of the road, very easy to find. The homestay is Japanese style, using public baths and toilets. Stations, information centers, supermarkets, and various restaurants are nearby, making travel very convenient. It is also convenient to get to the attractions by car.

The room is about 5 minutes walk from Anfang Station, close to Anfangchuan, very quiet not facing the street. Breakfast and dinner are handmade by the proprietress, very delicious. The room is small, slightly old, but well maintained and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is shared and there is a bathtub to soak in. The boss is very nice and very enthusiastic.

The boss has several B&Bs with similar locations but different types. The one I booked this time is a fairly new one. It has clean and good sanitary facilities and I saw many Western guests staying there. The B&B has shared bathing and toilets but they are very clean. It takes about fifteen minutes to walk to Ura Port, the most prosperous port in Yakushima.

GGuest UserGood hotel, right beside the airport. There's a bus stop at the airport so easy to get anywhere from there. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Not many other places to eat in vicinity, but there's a good cafe just up the road (just past the two big drugstores, which sell some basic foods as well).

GGuest UserOverall, it feels old and good. Clean and service is good. I was worried that there were many bugs on the island, but there were no big bugs, but on the third day, there were a lot of ants. There was no first and second days, but I don't know why it came out only on the third day. The location is close to the security port, but it is also a hill road and the road is out of the way, so it is not easy to walk. But it was not a big bus stop, but there was a grocery store right in front of you, so it was no problem to prepare for the climb. I don't speak English well, but all the staff are friendly and especially my grandfather at night was really kind.
