"It was from far the best place I’ve stayed in my whole trip to China. It’s exactly inside the scenic area (so please note that you need to buy the ticket to enter in this area to be able to get in the hotel, and the area is full of stairs and only walking, so you’ll need to carry all your luggage). The room is big and comfortable, great shower, all the amenities, staff is amazing and helpful, even providing tips about which performances are better to see. The view is stunning: you see the waterfalls from your balcony. I loved the place, feel grateful for find it. "Thanks to the enthusiastic boss, who picked us up from the Furong Town High-speed Railway Station and sent us back. It was very convenient and considerate. When traveling to Furong Town, the food was so-so, but the accommodation was indeed comfortable, and very comfortable. The homestay is newly renovated and has new facilities. The layout inside is not available in ordinary hotels. They are all large open rooms, but the bath 🛀🏻 bathtub is right next to the floor-to-ceiling window, and the washbasin just separates the entrance hall and the bathroom part, dry and wet separation, and the toilet and bathroom are separated from each other, with strong privacy. The mirror is double-sided, which is convenient for makeup and washing. The projection screen meets our entertainment needs. The enthusiastic boss also recommended places to eat, map navigation, performance schedules and other information for us. Remind everyone that Furong Town charges tickets. "Great location as it’s right at the beginning of the ancient town. Very beautiful wooden building. Close to restaurants and sightseeing. Free upgrade on the room and free railway station transfers which is essential as my friend was significantly overcharged on a taxi from the train station as her guesthouse didn’t offer transfers. They even collected me from the train station when I went on a day trip. Can be a little noisy at night due to being located next to a bbq restaurant but I imagine most hotels in the area are similar due to the nature of older buildings."

Since I wasn't familiar with the directions, I asked a taxi driver for help, and he kindly called the guesthouse for me. To my surprise, the owner came out to meet us at the entrance of Furongzhen area.
The owner was incredibly kind! She helped us purchase entrance tickets, guided us to the guesthouse, and showed us to our room. Sje even shared his WeChat contact and introduced the neighborhood. When I had trouble entering the room, he solved the issue quickly. Before we left, she arranged a ride to the high-speed rail station, making our entire stay very convenient and comfortable.
It’s very close to Tuwang Bridge, and the sound of the waterfall could be heard clearly — it was a refreshing and unique experience.

"The family that takes care of this inn is wonderful and the people are amazingly kind. The inn is clean and has a nice variety of rooms, we had one that's on the first floor (by the way, pay attention that you enter through the 3rd floor, in case you come with suitcases). The room felt very cozy and we had everything we need. There is one thing that you should be aware about: the hotel is really close to a small but loud waterfall, and in case you're a light sleeper it can be a problem.
Overall we really liked the inn, the room, the balcony, the night view. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for hosting us!"

"Great stay, perfect location, and a very kind host
The hotel is just a 3-minute walk from the entrance to the scenic spot, which is super convenient. You can get there either from the main road by going up a small staircase or from the lower, more touristy street.
The room is great: very comfortable and quiet — I slept really well. During the time I stayed, the nights were nice and cool for sleeping, and the daytime temperature was just perfect.
The owner was also extremely kind and even drove me to the train station himself. It only took us 12 minutes, and I really appreciated that.

"I really enjoyed staying here. Affordable price, great location and friendly, helpful service. The staff picked me up from the train station - he was waiting for me and communicates via wechat, he will help you buy your entry ticket to the scenic area on the way to the inn, he carried my 25kg suitcase up some stairs and wheeled it to my room. Room is as pictured / advertised but bonus that it has a western toilet too - very happy. The view is wonderful, feels like youre in the country village but less than 15min walk to the waterfall scenic area.
I arrived at 12.30pm and explore Furong for about 4hrs including lunch and watched x3 10min performances then went back to the inn for shower and rest. Went out again around 7pm for quick dinner and x2 night shows. The 9pm show in the theatre is really good. Make sure you carry your paper ticket at all times as theres many checkpoints - staff scan qr code on ticket. You can enter/exit as many times as you like within 3 days.
Do stay at a local homestay type place to support the residents here. Its a great experience and a nice change from hotels. Honest! Its also a great way to immerse yourself with the people when travelling through China."

SSS-SingaporeThis has goto be the best room I had in my 16 days trip. Reached the Furong Station earlier than expected. Message the boss of the homestay and he reached the station with his cool jeep in 10 mins. Super good service! Reached the homestay in about 15mins, had a good chat with the friendly boss who grown up there. As the homestay is located in the scenic area, you will need to pay the entry ticket (108rmb) at the gate. The ticket is valid for 3 days. Do remember to bring along the ticket when you are out walking or decided to leave the scenic area. The Guard at the gate will scan your ticket when you re-enter to the scenic area. It's a very nice chill ancient town. The room I stayed was 502. It's super super nice, big, clean and even have a roof window and attached balcony. Can tell the couple put in alot of effort to maintain the homestay. I totally enjoy my night there. The boss was very kind to send me to the Rail station as well. They usually only provide one way service during peak season. Will highly recommend anyone who is going to Furong to stay here.

Our room was in good condition, nicely decorated and quite large at this price point, with a decent view of the river. The owner’s friendly attitude and helpfulness really stood out, allowing us to have a worry-free short stay in Furong.

The owner is a beautiful Tujia ethnic minority. Before we even arrived in Furong Town, she messaged us asking if we had any requests for our stay, whether she would pick us up at the station, and whether she would buy tickets for us. She was incredibly thoughtful. The beautiful owner is also very diligent. She washes her own quilts and sheets, which still smell faintly of disinfectant and sunlight. It was truly reassuring. We've been on many trips and haven't encountered any other hotel pick-up or drop-off service at the station, but we experienced it at Xile Meisu B&B in Furong Town, which was truly touching. It was a wonderful trip to Furong Town.

Parking is also more convenient. You can park downstairs in the inn for free~ Facilities: Downstairs is the owner's pharmacy~ Hahaha I think it is very convenient and a bit uncomfortable. There are two doctors downstairs, Chinese and Western medicine. The room we chose was a little smaller. After all, there were two people. The proprietress asked herself to choose the room on the day I went. It was really super super good! Although the room is small and complete, everything is complete, and the hygiene is really the cleanest family I have ever lived during this period of travel! Not dirty, not messy, not bad! Service: The boss and the proprietress are super good! And his little son hahaha is very fun, I really like the atmosphere of their family! The parking and driving boss will help to see it is really good! Food: The authentic snack proprietress arranged it for me! In the evening, their family made fried small potatoes and left me a copy. I really cried! The family is really delicious even if I go back to Sichuan, I miss the taste. Because I want to eat local food, I asked the proprietress to the restaurant next to the inn! Tianluo rice noodles are super delicious~ All empty dishes are empty. I really recommend this inn! Clean and hygienic! Really at home

The owners took me to the train station for free too, I did try to add them on we chat to see if they could pick me up as i got into furong very late, but they didnt add me, luckily there were taxis outside 🙏😊 The lady is so friendly as took me straight to the ticket counter when I arrived!

If you love bold views and unique stays, this place is for you. It’s a charming, offbeat experience perfect for photo lovers and nature fans—but don’t expect luxury. The pillow, bedding, and room were okay—simple but decent.
Just a heads-up: the hotel only provides disposable towels, so it’s a good idea to bring your own. Not a big deal, but something to note. Also, pack comfy shoes and maybe some earplugs—the waterfall is loud, and there can be tourist noise at night. But we were all good 👍🏻
Bottom line: Come for the views, stay for the atmosphere… and bring your own towel. 😄

It seems that only Huiran Building has a lobby, and it is also the most cost-effective among the five buildings. It is right in the center of the ancient town. The ancient town is not big, so you can just go shopping around it. Butler Xiaonan recommended going to his Waterfall Building in the evening to check in. Because he needed tickets, he didn’t go in. This time he decided not to enter the toll area. The trip should be like a trip.
