The Inn is located at the top of the upper Yubeng village. The good point is that you can have a very good unblock view. The downside for now is that you need to climb up from the lower Yubeng or call a car to send you up. But this will not be an issue after the authority completes road construction from Xidang village.
The Inn has its own resturant. My wife and I enjoy the food they serve. It's really one of the better ones in the village.
Part of the Inn is still under construction. It will become nicer after they complete it.
The room price is on a higher end but we enjoyed our stay.

Place ran by an older couple that are very helpful and they cook very good food (the chaofan was delicious).
The views are breathtaking, specially from the second floor.
The rooms are very simple, the bathrooms could be better, but it is understandable as we’re high up in the mountain.
The room was a bit cold, but the bed had a heat mat which was key to spend the night.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which is perfectly situated in town, offering breathtaking views right from our room (for sunset and sunrise see photos). The location alone makes it a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The owner even parked our car right in front of the hotel. Even though we don’t speak Chinese, communication was smooth thanks to a translation app. Their hospitality truly stood out, and we appreciated their warm and accommodating attitude.
The only downside was that our room was quite cold until the heating started working in the evening.
Overall, despite this small issue, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a scenic and welcoming place to stay in the Meili Snow Mountains!

I had a bunk in the dorm. The mattress was really comfortable, and had a heating pad. The girls who shared the room were friendly and considerate, which was a bonus. The host was helpful with booking transportation, and had a wechat social group for the visitors. Laundry is available. I would definitely recommend for anyone open to the hostel experience.

Hygiene: Very clean. The house is really spotless and cleaned very carefully! The courtyard and the front desk are also
Facilities: The room is large, the floor heating is quite powerful, the room is not so cold after turning it on for about an hour, and the temperature is very comfortable for sleeping at night. Other facilities are also quite complete, there is a humidifier, cotton swabs and earplugs, but I didn't use them much because it was not noisy and dry. There is also an oxygen supply machine and two nasal suction tubes in the room
Environment: Just opposite the north gate of Dukezong Ancient Town, less than 10 minutes' walk away, the location is very good, there are small supermarkets and restaurants at the door of the B&B
Service: There is space for two or three cars to park at the door. The boss moved the car for us and helped us carry our luggage upstairs. He also lent us his computer for fear that we might have altitude sickness. He also invited us to have tea with him when we came back from shopping in the evening. It was very heartwarming.

The view from the room is fantastic!!!! Room is also very spacious and clean. Toilets were very slightly dirty (minor stains). Towels, toothbrush, hair dryer and hand soap provided, but unexpectedly no shampoo, conditioner, body soap or lotion provided. Future travellers should bear in mind to bring their own.
The staff are very kind, attentive and responsive. Kudos to them!
The lodge also has a rooftop with some chairs. As the lodge is quite small, there's hardly anyone at the rooftop and it ends up being quite private! View of the mountains are better here than at halfway GH in my opinion.
Overall really enjoyed my stay and would stay again if I do TLG again

This is my first time staying in a Youth Hostel! As a transit station for the departure of Yubeng, I met a lot of like-minded sisters here! Although it is an eight-person room, the space is large, there is also a separate bathroom and shower, and the bed is large and clean! The volunteers here, Xiao Huang and Xiao Jiang, are super nice. In the afternoon of landing, they took me to the observation deck to see the snow-capped mountains. They got up early the next day to watch the sunrise and were super patient to take pictures. They became very good friends ～ Strong push!

GGuest UserThe room is new and clean, the decoration is also very good, very modern and high-end, the oxygen supply machine is also super good, and the altitude sickness is obviously much better when I am in the room. The most important thing is that the boss lady and the boss are super super nice. When we couldn't find the lights on the floor that were turned off at almost 12 o'clock in the evening, the boss came up to help us check. Thanks to the boss's wife for taking us to the station the next day, otherwise we would have almost missed it. Highly recommend this hotel!

XXiaoguixifeifeiThe owner of the inn is very kind. He even came to pick me and my friend up at the high-speed rail station when we arrived at 11pm! Then when we left, the boss got up at 6 o'clock in the morning to take us to the high-speed rail station. When we arrived at 11 o'clock in the evening, the boss helped us get in touch with us to take a ride to the Meili Snow Mountain to see the Rizhao Jinshan Mountain. We arrived at the B&B and drank fruit and butter tea! The sanitary environment is very good! The equipment is all brand new and said to be newly opened this year! Highly recommend everyone to stay here

Overall: The inn is nice and confortable but the service is terrible. Service made us feel very unwelcome and ruined the experience.
Room: humble but comfortable room. You can ask for a heater, which is very needed in the winter months (we stayed here in late November). Be aware that some rooms are marked as “Mountain View” but in fact you’re in a covered area so won’t really have a view (pictures attached) - we booked one of these rooms but since it was low season we were lucky to get a free upgrade and get one of the few rooms with a nice view.
Cleanliness: the rooms are relatively clean, but we had a mouldy shower curtain (see pictures).
Amenities: the restaurant / front desk area is very nice and cosy.
Service: terrible! Every time we needed their assistance it felt as if we were disturbing them from sitting by the fire (even though they barely had any customers and it seemed as if they were not busy at all). We are international traveler’s that don’t speak Chinese and the service was unhelpful and not welcoming. We’ve had no issues anywhere else in our trip in China, this was definitely the worst we have experienced. After reading other reviews it seems that the boss is very helpful, but he wasn’t there when we stayed at the inn and it appears that the workers don’t do a good job when he is not around. The workers didn’t advise us that we needed crampons for one of the hikes we did (hikers from other inns told us that these were a must) so we had to reluctantly stay one more night to complete the hike.
When we booked another night, one service member told us a price and another service person told us a different (lower, almost 100cny lower) price. We were then charged the first (higher) price, which made us feel quite uncomfortable. The day after when we tried to rent crampons from the inn the lady told us that it was 20 cny to rent per day, and that in other places it was 40 cny per day. We decided not to rent them because they looked in very bad condition. We later found out that you can buy them brand new at “meets meili snow mountain” for 35cny and use them for the 2 hikes. We also had to rent hiking poles even though they provide them for free at the hotel given that the ones they had didn’t look in good condition and weren’t tall enough for us (the lady at the desk got frustrated with us because of this).
Overall, very unhelpful, impatient service - we felt extremely uncomfortable because of it. If you’re an international traveller and don’t speak much Chinese stay away!!
Food: was good but small portions compared to other places. We ended up eating most of our meals elsewhere because the service made us feel very unwelcome. Limited breakfast options, there’s many more options at “meets meili snow mountain”.

GGuest UserThis trip to Tiger Leaping Gorge is very worthwhile. The happiest and happiest thing is to meet Tingtao Yage. There were many children staying that day. Our children had a lot of fun and were super happy. They didn't want to leave. The daughter of the owner of Tingtao Yage is only eight years old. She is super capable. She serves tea and water to guests and looks like an adult. I must give her a thumbs up. Their service is really great. They took the initiative to call us, carefully explained the precautions, added WeChat, and informed us of the road conditions in time. It was no problem to drive slowly on the rural road that was a few hundred meters into the village. The room was very clean, the quilt was dry, and I slept very comfortably. You can eat the fruits on the trees at will. They are a super generous family. If I have time in the future, I will definitely come here and stay for a few months.

NnfzlnThe Inn is very near the gate, easily found and near the square market, the location was very strategic, the owner was also very helpful and he suggested me to the Halal food nearest the town, and also can book a day trip to Balagezong with them. The room is very clean and big, has an electric blanket and portable heater, but not a heated floor. you can see the town from the inn and also can stargazing at the second floor.

Tttag1289This place is a hidden gem and it does have a few twists and turns to get there. It is great place and the family are so friendly and helpful!! The main host lady can speak some English, but she understood what we were talking and asking. Everyone was sooo friendly. The check in was very smooth and the room was so spacious! The view of the mountain in our room was breathtaking. The bathroom is very modern, the shower had great water pressure and there was no waiting for hot water. The bed was comfy, towels were nice and soft and the AC worked very well. They had tea leaves in the room if you wanted to make yourself a nice cup of tea. The view from the roof top was fantastic. The family had all the supplies you may need for hiking such as snacks, drinks, rain pants ponchos, water, tissues, hats etc. They have a good range of Chinese food and what we ate for lunch and breakfast were very tasty. On the menu they had apple pie and banana pie. The pastry tasted like doughnut. Although it would go nicely with ice cream, we enjoyed it. Sorry we were too hungry, that we forgot to take pictures of our delicious food. The family organized a driver to take our luggage to the next homestay, while we hiked on. When we arrived to other locations, our bags were there. This is a place, that is you should consider staying at when hiking along the Tiger Leaping Gorge. Also, the best part of staying at this place is that you meet so many friendly hikers. Totally recommend it!🙌🏼👍👍👍👍

RRoszaimyThe hotel was initially confusing to find. Apparently the signage at the front only says Liudeng Inn (see photo). When I was lost my way, a kind lady approached and brought me to the correct property. Turned out she was the hotel owner. No idea how she could have noticed and followed me on the busy street unless she's already familiar with the confusion involving foreign travelers. The room was fantastic. A space heater was provided. For the two single beds, there were electric heating pads as well. Wifi worked fine mostly, just the occasional slowness. Hot shower worked fine, although needed finite adjustment as it got hot and cold in tight tolerance. Just behind the hotel lies the old town so things were easy for exploration. On the street fronting the hotel, I saw 3-4 halal (qingzhen) eateries as well. Ate at two of them.

There are many inns in the ancient city, but this one is a good place to avoid the hustle and bustle, and a few hundred meters away from the center of Dukezong in the ancient city. I saw that the owner of the inn is a landlady with taste and who knows how to live. It's not luxurious, but it feels like home. I suggest that the landlady change the English name of the inn to family hotel!

GGuest UserYourland Hotel is run and operated by a very hard working lady who essentially does everything herself - from welcoming guests, cooking breakfast, cleaning the rooms and washing the bed sheets & laundry. The rooms are very clean and neatly organised, it has all the comforts that any hiker should need in such a remote location that is high up in the mountains (e.g. electric blankets, warm showers, etc.) Please do note that the warm water does need sometime to reheat especially if another guest takes a shower right away after the first guest. It will not be sufficient time for the water heating machine to heat the water. You should take note of the number that is displayed on the water heater. By default in our room, it showed the number of 44 and after the first guest took the shower, it went down to 19. If someone takes a shower right away at that moment, it will be cold so the next person should wait a bit until the number displayed moves up.
The views in the morning are amazing as you can see the mountain ranges on three different sides so you get a very good panoramic view from the terrace of the hotel. After a long day of hiking, our moods were lightened up when we were welcomed by the friendly and playful Labrador Retriever whose name is Dou Dou. Such a lovely dog ＜3. I would recommend you to stay here if you are looking for a place to stay in Upper Yubeng, it's good base for your planned hikes to the Glacier Lake and Nise Ranch. The place might be a bit difficult to locate if you arrive in Yubeng late at night (like we did since we walked all the way from Ninong, which was really tiring), but once you get the gist of it, it's very easy to remember and locate.

The room facilities are advanced, equipped with a full set of daily necessities, smart devices, projection, and feeding machines, making people feel like at home. The sanitation is impressive, and every corner is sparkling and meticulous. The young man at the front desk is warm and thoughtful, always willing to help, and always responds quickly whenever there is a need. The location is perfect. It is located in the center of Dukezong Ancient City. It is located in the scenic area. You can see the beautiful scenery of the ancient city as soon as you go out. It is also very convenient to go to other scenic spots. It is only three or four minutes away from the main road.
