The room was quite scruffy, we had a large patch on the wall, where the paint had come off. Reported to staff but they didn't seem overly concerned

Small room, bed and bedside cabinets. No fridge in the room. The bed is very close to the wall. The sink in the bathroom was set back and difficult to reach. Lack of adequate tee/coffee & milk for two guests. Take away breakfast was very basic and inadequate. On the positive side, the reception staff were helpful and friendly. We were checked into our first room earlier than the allotted time. When we reported a defective hallway light in our room, we were moved to another room on the same floor. We were also given a vouched for courtesy snack. However, we felt the second room was of similar standard to the first one.
Generally, the rooms looked tired. We expected a much higher standard rooms for a Hilton Hotel.

The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the airport. There are no mouthwash cups, toothpaste, toothbrushes, or slippers in the room, which is a bit inconvenient for guests who stay overnight due to early flights. The bathtub also didn't have a bathtub mat, which was a bit dangerous.
Breakfast was basically a pre-flight breakfast.

This is my second time staying at this hotel and the service is really excellent. Great selection of food and drinks, and I'm especially happy that they serve breakfast from 4am so you can get to all your destinations.
