The cabin was very private and overlooked the lake. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. Nice ground area to relax, explore and walk around.
It was about a 5/6 minute drive into Stanley.

Situated on the highway so it was very quiet until about 8am. Only 2 cabins in the complex which was quite big with several small lakes. It was a lovely quiet and picturesque environment however the area was in need of some attention - obviously it was once very nice but now ground buildings are a bit run down. Cabins were fine however ours was a little unclean with a thick layer of dust in some areas. No internet present but all other facilities were usable. PowerPoints in bedroom were not conveniently placed.It was 6 km from Stanley so you needed a car to get in to town.

Great stay. Friendly manager. Easy to find and set on beautiful grounds by the lake. Would definitely recommend.

Classic style lake side cabin
The lakeside cabin faces the man made lake. It is very secluded, old classic style and very nice.
The spa is very good.
We met the owners to get the keys for checkin and it was a good chat.

Amazing experience
It was an amazing experience and the location cannot be better. I will totally return when I go to Tasmania again. The views are wonderful and the sky at night with the milky way is something that I will never forget.
