What a wonderful place!! Loved everything about it from the stunning accommodation, attention to detail, everything was of the highest quality. We were toasty warm, the bed was super comfortable, delicious breakfast provisions (delicious sourdough, best muesli and rhubarb compote I've ever eaten!), beautiful views from our room and patio, Alastair and Kerry were wonderful hosts. We stayed in April at the Ship Inn for a very special family birthday celebration. We booked several rooms. Our family members are all experienced and regular travelers both in Australia and overseas. We all felt the Ship Inn was an excellent place to stay. It ranks amongst the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. The suites are extremely well designed and have exceptional facilities. The guest lounge is a real bonus as we took advantage of this room to collectively meet for drinks and casual eats in the well-equipped little kitchen/dining area and then relaxed in the adjoining stunning lounge. The house staff were also very friendly and lovely to us. The gardens and landscaping are incredible and extremely beautiful. We would like to thank Kerry and Alaistair as the amazing hosts and owners of this property. We all felt very welcomed and the nice extra touches such as having a little welcome card in each room as part of the family group was a lovely thought. The hosts certainly went out of their way to make the celebration special for my son who turned 40 and our family group who came from within and outside of the state for the celebration. Thank you so much.

The Ship Inn at Stanley is probably the most beautifully appointed and well thought out accommodation I've ever stayed in. Everything from the views to the breakfast was superb. The welcoming guest area was an added bonus and the gardens are a treat for the eye. Our whole stay at the Ship Inn was a delight and I really appreciated all the historical notes that were displayed around our room and the whole Inn.

This place is unbelievable. Beautifully appointed, rooms are just amazing, and community areas are equally impressive. We’ve done a lot of travel around the world, and stayed in some beautiful accommodation. This place is the best. For comfort, facilities, gardens, and all round quality, it’s very hard to beat. We absolutely love it here and almost have to force ourselves to go out exploring the area, there’s so much to see in this building and surrounds. Only disappointment is that we will have to leave…..
