Stayed two nights. I like the pub, the staff were all helpful and efficient. We ate outside one night in a pleasant garden area and our food was very good and well presented. Our room was at the front and very hot. No air con but a large noisy fan moved the hot air around. The road is noisy with the window open but the room was well appointed and comfortable. Breakfasts were quite good but I didn’t like the open basket of limited choice pastries and cereals put on the table.

We had a lovely two night stay at TheBull and Swan. The large room (RAM) we stayed in was very nice. It was spacious, spotlessly clean, with a extra large bed and very nice shower and stand free bath. The breakfasts were delicious and well presented. The manager Paul was friendly, helpful and approachable. We would 100% stay there again, next time we visit Stamford.

Nous avons a-do-ré le "bâtiment", extrêmement accueillant, agréable, chaleureux, fabuleux, même, tous ses espaces, extérieurs comme intérieurs, qui lui confèrent un cachet et un charme ineffables - à la fois modernes et suranées, la belle chambre avec un mobilier et une décoration incroyables, la disponibilité le dévouement et la très grande amabilité de Paul, ainsi que le petit-déjeuner original. (Le repas du soir était savoureux également.)

Absolutely wonderful stay! The staff wete brilliant and done a cracking job with sorting my partners birthday arrangements for our room - you cant begin to know how special it was for us both. Breakfasts were top notch, and the pub itself was a lovely place to have a drink and chill out. Highly recommended!

Excellent stay , lovely room and helpful friendly staff. Evening meal very good and also super breakfast . One point I would like to make is that the outside entrance to our accommodation was in need of a good sweep, but that's a minor point ! Thank you .

The Bull and Swan is perfect for exploring Stamford, visiting Burghley House (20 mins walk) and great for visiting Rutland Water (15 mins drive away). The Hotel / Pub is excellent, Service is second to none (truly excellent) and the food great. We stayed in the beautiful Lamb room and please be reassured that any reference to it being 'smaller' is no reflection on how lovely it is. (A word of warning though, there is a 'fan' just outside the window which can be noisy if you need to open it but it didn't spoil our visit in anyway).
