Beautiful stay in Crete
We had a nice stay at Theo Hotel. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa, which comfortably slept 6 people and had its own pool. Customer service was top notch and the staff was very accommodating and caring. Giannis was really nice to me and my family and made sure we were taken care of at breakfast. The only drawback of the hotel is being situated on top of a hill and there are a lot of stairs. But the views are amazing and there is a convenient elevator to get down to the beach. The hotel was going to charge for towels to use at the pool, but kindly waived the fee. I recommend the hotel simply include the towel fee in the overall price for future guests. Overall a nice stay with very friendly staff.

Per arrivare in questo paradiso dall aereoporto ci vogliono ben 2 ore e mezza ma ne vale la pena! Assicuratevi di avere il trasferimento! Arrivati all hotel in reception siamo stati accolti da Fay, una ragazza di bella presenza, non parla italiano ma con con pazienza e professionalità siamo riusciti ad intenderci. Arriviamo nella stanza che devo dire molto pulita e confortevole,al piano terra con terrazzo vista mare, Asciugamani puliti tutti i giorni,saponi per mani profumatissimi,frigorifero,wifii. Portatevi il minimo indispesabile che anche di fronte un mini market dove ha di tutto sigarette comprese, Ce un atm di fronte all hotel. Per arrivare al Mare si arriva a piedi a 300 metri. Dentro ce una piscina bellissima con lettini e obrelloni di uno stile unico, Le vetrate sono pulitissime. Una piccola famigliola di gattini vi faranno da intrattenimento e sono anche educati e farseli amici ci vuole poco. Ma ora arriviamo a loro...il ristorante. Praticamente sono una famiglia. Essendo del mestiere vederli lavorare cosi con sorriso ed armonia è davvero bello. Lo chef Vlasic un superman affiancato da sua moglie Agelina riempiono il banco gastronomico di pietanze ottime é impossibile non assaggiare tutto, Poi in sala abbiamo capo sala Pierre elegante, professionale e attento a tutto, affiancato da Jessica la figlia dello chef molto graziosa disponibile e sempre col sorriso, Konstantinos ha un viso da furbetto ma molto gentile e servizievole. Per I aperitivo e il dopo cena al bar trovate xrizia vi servirà un amaro o un drink di fronte alla piscina che di sera ce un atmosfera bellissima. Comunque non tralasciamo nessuno facciamo i complimenti a tutto lo staff anche a chi non abbiamo citato La recensione è un po mirata magari...ma credetemi è un posto fantastico in ottima posizione dal mare e dal centro. Relax garantito! Come sentirsi a casa! Ve lo consiglio vivamente!

Visited this hotel for the third time and again a satisfied customer. Well-kept and customer-friendly hotel, staff and employees are very correct and polite and do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Next year back for the fourth time.

Had a wonderful time at the Theo Hotel Agia Marina in crete. A wonderful room with perfect views front and back. Very clean. Everyone was so helpful and kind and always smiling. We were bed and breakfast and it was very good with enough choices. We had lunch three times too which was lovely. It has a very steep hill to get to the hotel so not great for elderly or people with difficulties walking, but there is a small elevator that takes you to the hotel. It's very close to the lovely beach , shops and tavernas. I would definitely return to this hotel. Room 506 was fabulous.

We spent a week in this hotel in September. The hotel is on top of a hill and has fantastic views.When welcomed to the hotel we were offered wine and a massage. We had an all inclusive studio room with a sea view which was always clean and the fridge was filled with drinks daily. The hotel is quiet and perfect for relaxing and once a week there is a fantastic greek night. The food is great but there was so much of it! As an addition you were offered one free meal at the restaurant Isola which is located on the beach and was a perfect place for a romantic dinner. The best part of the hotel was the staff, they were lovely and it felt like everyone was one big family. We would like to especially thank Natalia who advised us on everything we could do there and went above and beyond for us. Jessica was also lovely and made us feel at home and it felt we gained a new family member. We miss you all and wish you best! Sylwia and Bogdan

Theo is built on a hill so of course brilliant views across the sea. The room was very comfortable - with good ensuite facilities. There was kettle - coffee machine - fridge and air conditioning also a balcony with garden view. Meals were plentiful and varied - plenty seating area inside and out. The music evening with BBQ was fantastic and loved the way the staff joined in and made a fun evening. Plenty of sun beds around the pool - lovely setting - easy access to the beach as well. The bar in evening was quiet but suited us. Can’t praise the staff enough - professional - hospitable and very helpful - big thank you to all the team for making the holiday so good. Elli, Jessica, Sophia and Natalia especially made us so welcome - pointing us in direction of train ride - little fun train to see Crete.

We’ve just returned from our week’s trip to Chania, where we stayed at the Theo Hotel. First of all the location, we were instantly a little worried when our transfer dropped us off on a main road and told us to walk up a steep hill to our hotel. But as soon as we arrived in the hotel we were greeted by the friendly reception staff and the lovely Ellie (the guest relations lady) who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We quickly discovered the hotel “lift” that cut out the steep hill so luckily didn’t have to walk that again for the whole holiday! Next up, the hotel itself. The hotel was very nice and modern. A beautiful pool area with plenty of sun loungers. The bar area was okay… not many people used it so it was a little quiet for my liking. Our room was a good size for the two of us. We had a garden view, but could actually see the sea also from our balcony. We stayed bed and breakfast, and really enjoyed breakfast! A vast variety of options so something for everyone. We did do the hotels Cretian night - it wasn’t really our thing as we prefer to eat out - but the musicians and dancers were very good. I feel like €30 per person to attend this night was a little steep in price. We were advised to try the hotels beach side restaurant Isola… it wasn’t nothing special. But the food was nice - there are much nicer restaurant more inland. Top tips for staying here - we recommend the Little Fun Train day trips.. we did the seven villages, pleasures of Crete and Grand Canyon . All absolutely brilliant. Also, walk 25 minutes down the road towards agia marina and find the restaurant “Cosys”. It’s a hidden gem our most favourite local Restaurant.
